While trying to make a ssto for the first time, I managed to get one that would work. However when I went to plan a maneuver, I saw that my line had disappeared. I still had the periapsis and apoapsis there, but the line itself had disappeared and could not make a maneuver.

So I didn't do anything special, I was going to control a ship around Duna, and the game seemed to fell apart. The ship is nowhere to be found, the surface of Duna seems to be be low polly, and the UI, especially in the kerbal portrait is broken. The moment I unpaused the game it seemed to work.

So I was just messing around in the game, doing a test with the gridfins. I landed a little too hard and broke the engine, the legs of course fell off since they were connected to the engine. However I noticed by accident that I could still make the legs open or close. With the parts manager as well as just pressing the button

Do you know if you lost all trajectory lines, or just the one for your craft? I’d like to try to replicate this

Sorry for the late response, that was the only craft I had in orbit so I'm not sure, I do have the save file in the description however

woah, never seen something like this before. it looks to be the same effect as viewing Kerbins atmosphere from inside Kerbin in map view/tracking station, except it's everywhere. Good find!

What's even weirder is all I did was quick load and save, I didn't do anything out of the ordinary

While doing a rescue mission, I had lost my orbital line. I did a quick save and reload, and when I went to the map space wasn't looking so good. It was only in the map view, and was present no matter what celestial body I was focusing.

I was doing a return from Dres, I didn't want to wait for a transfer window, so I decided to just orbit the sun then go to Kerbin. However, I was having issues with the UI for the Maneuver tool. The angle was not appearing, and when it eventually did, it was stuck at 1 and wouldn't change no matter how much I didn't align with Kerbin. I was also not able to see how close/far Kerbin would be at the time I would pass its orbital line. Quicksaving and loading does fix this.

Note, I did have another craft at the launchpad for time warp when I was in low Kerbin orbit. I'm not sure if it's related but thought it would be useful information

I was doing a mission, I ran out of hydrogen by not paying attention. Bored I turned on the infinite fuel cheat. After doing a burn in map view I noticed my vessel flipping out of control.

    Some notes

1.The engine was attached normally until this point

    2. This happened after I activated the cheat, no idea if this is related but may be something to keep in mind

    3. The engine is fully working, swivel, burns, its just not on its original attach point

I had reported a bug here

I was able to get a work around, or the game decided to work. So I picked a random planet to go to, Dres (Idk why either, I didn't even have enough delta v) After I undocked the lander, I noticed the engine was not aligned, I knew this should not of been the case, so I reloaded and sure enough it was aligned properly. So I went back to the save in Dres orbit and, the video I provided happened. I thought this was the end, but no. While typing this bug report, I decided I would go to the V.A.B to make my lander to show how it was. And the game has now broken down. Almost every part is just a pink sphere or cylinder. Honestly I cannot understand what happened and why. I tried to attached the videos below as well as the save file. I tried to save the game in the current state I showed here, but I was not able to save

    @Mutant87 Great video.
So it never recovered after reloading? Do you still have the save file?

If so, can you please do the following?:

    1. Create a new bug report and attach the json save file
    2. Have my name in the title of the bug report
    3. Have a link to this bug report within it

If you can do that, I would appreciate it.  I will then add the save file to this bug report.

Just posted it, currently getting checked, sorry for the late response

I was doing a mission where I would dock the top part of my rocket, to the bottom. I got the first half into orbit no major issues. The second part also did just fine, no major issues. However, once I docked the 2 together, the vessel did not respond to the controls. The vessel just kept spinning, even if I time warped to stop it. It would start spinning again. When I clicked prograde, retrograde anything as such, the vessel would seem to move to such, however the navball did not change and the ship never pointed to the direction I told it to. I loaded a save, went to the tracking station and nothing. I was unable to find a work around.

    Save File:
    autosave_2.json

    Video Evidence:
    2023-09-0403-05-48.mkv

    Replication Steps:

    1. Load autosave_2.json from main menu.
    2. Go to tracking station
    3. Delete Default Name-7
    4. Close Flight Report
    5. Control (Combined)-6
    6. Turn on SAS and change to Prograde

    Note:
Craft is not moving to Prograde but is rolling instead in an uncontrolled manner.

    Work Arounds:

    • F5 QuickSave F9 Load QuickSave
    • Change Control point to one of the docking ports in the middle of the craft.

  12. I was doing an Apollo style mun mission. I had struts attached to the lander and the rocket. Once I had separated the stuts of course no longer connected. However, I only noticed once I got to the mun that the struts had re-connected with one another after I docked. I tried to undock but the vessel wouldn't count and imminently dock again. An image of the struts re-connected and what it was originally in the pictures4TMw5HE.jpghZOFEX8.jpg
