Oh ok so it's what I don't get because I have this active stratgey? I thought it added to the reward so in my head I was going to actually lose reputation.

Hi! I just started the game and I need help to understand a number in the mission briefings. I have a negative orange number next to the predicted reputation gain for completing a mission or its parts (see image below). I don't understand where this malus comes from (or if it even is a malus). I only have unpaid research program set as a strategy and by the description it shouldn't affect my rep gains right? My rep is around 25 in light green.
