  1. Also being a keyboard pilot, I can say this happens to me too. When landing and not hitting the ground hard enough to break anything else (including landing gear), the engine pops off. I can say for sure that the engine, or any part of the plane other than landing gear has hit the ground. In a test involving hard maneuvering (while airborne) I\'ve also found that in a number of my planes, it is the engine in which the stresses will cause to break off first.
  2. So, while it may not be the smallest, I thought I\'d add this one to the list because it\'s (slightly) different from anyone elses.* Originally had 3 landing gear. Dropped them the moment i was airborne (the small drop at the end of the runway is what allowed me to get into the air *cough*) Mini-Jet, powered by RCS thrusters! A micro-jet with micro-engines! All stock parts. Only 1 RCS tank, noticable by the fact it took most the fuel just to get to the end of the runway, and into the air :| It\'s not exactly classified as a \'long-range\' aircraft. didn\'t seem *too* hard to fly once in the air. the main difficulty for me is that you cannot let go of the Thrust-forward button. Throttle obviously having no effect here. *: it\'s 5 am, and there\'s a good chance i missed one, two, all of the posts in this thread XD but apparently awake enough to design a spaceplane... But I guess it\'s never a bad time to make space vehicles on Kerbin.
  3. While it isn\'t much, here\'s a start for you. Includes: A missed shot at Minmus which is now leaving the system Equatorial debris from said launch (about 6 pieces in same orbit) A lander orbiting Kerbol. 1 debris in polar orbit. A lander on Minmus and a small bunch of planes on Kerbin (including one fairly close to the center of the north pole). Sidenote: I\'ve never shared persistence before, and am only working under assumption that the persistent.sfs in the saves\default folder is actually the correct file. If this is incorrect, just say so and I\'ll fix as soon as i can. edit: so i totally forgot (forgive me, 430 am and all) but a couple of the planes have a mechjeb part on their back. i\'ll leave the file here for now, but if i can find time tomorrow, i\'ll go through and delete/end flights with the offending part.
