UPDATE: I figured out the issue it was a mod I had installed called "Better SR B's" leaving this here for anyone else.

I am playing a moded version of the game. when I use a solid rocket booster the stage and engine sound play but they don't produce any thrust. when I right click on the engine it says 'flame out' reason: air combustion failed. they used to work but I added a few extra mods that only added parts. none that affect core gameplay. If anyone has any ideas or can help me with this it will be much appreciated!
