is it possible the land was higher then 500m above sea level? cause everything looked aok (apart from the parachute popping open, it did come out. but it stayed euh... unpopped?)

got a question already for you all... i just managed to get into an elyptical orbit (quite by accident i can assure you) and upon reentry my chute deployed but did not open .. and it ended with a big boom in the end... do i have to do something special toforce the chute to pop open??

hello everyone, just donated the 15 dollars today after trying out the demo, and i figured i would make myself known on the forums! Right now im mostly still in the how the hell do i get this thing off the ground phase, but im sure ill be losing people in space instead of on the launch pad soon! So euh... nice to meet you all?
