My large ships won't turn

Maybe you could post a screenshot of one of your ships while turning? That would help us to help you -
I used Multiversal Mechatronics Fixed Camera Mod and F1( ) to make the screenshots and then I used Microsoft Image Composite Editor to generate the panorama.
