I think that I got it touched it down in one piece (couple of years ago now) but because it was fairly tall (massively overcompensated) and with the old legs always getting caught on the terrain it ended up tipping over. That didn't matter though. Just getting down onto the surface was enough after hours of wondering how the hell I was going to manage a landing.

Should KSP have a Delta-V readout?
Adslegend replied to bsalis's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Would be nice to have so that you don't have to guess if you have enough fuel to complete the mission. -
Without a doubt I choose resources. Resources would add much more depth to the game. Multiplayer on the other hand changes very little. Right now it would add very little to the game. Without resources there'd be no reason to interact with other players.
-
How important is a resource system to you?
Adslegend replied to SlinkyBlue's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I think that resources is key to keeping players interested in the game. Right now, once you've landed and done the science there's very little left to do. Getting there is enjoyable but after you arrive there's nothing to keep you entertained. Resources give the player a long term goal, the ability to have self sustaining missions without having to spend hours carting fuel across the Solar system and open up a lot more possibilities. They'd also give sandbox players something to look forward to and enjoy because right now, if you don't play career mode, there's very little to look forwards to. -
For me it's definitely the sub-assembly. It'll make building rockets and making payloads so much more convenient and now we won't have to copy files between the VAB and SPH folders to use each symmetry type.

On one of my first docking attempts I misjudged how long it would take to slow down so I hit the station. Luckily it only caused a small amount of damage.
-
Since its terrain update, I'd say the Mun. The hills and craters make driving a rover on it much more fun.
-
Mine would be when I successfully docked with one of the docking mods before docking was officially part of the game.
-
what kind of parts would you guys want? (beyond 0.20)
Adslegend replied to Veshpa's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Crane parts (like the Kerbal Attachment System) and mechanical joints. -
KSP\GameData\Squad\Flags
-
The only minor downside that I've seen is that sometimes the parts glitch into each other and break but apart from that it's a great update.
-
I hadn't noticed it before I read this. I'll be sure to use it from now on.
-
I've managed to land on it without problems although I have only tried once.
-
My wish list for .18 is docking and being able to skip to part of your orbit.
-
You can land on Minmus with the EVA pack but it would be pushing it to land on the Mun with it.

[video] A Curiosity style lander and Krazy Kerbal rover
Adslegend replied to katateochi's topic in KSP1 Discussion
That\'s the best rover I\'ve seen. Looks like a lot of fun to use. Good Job! -
This is the rocket I use to get to Minmus. It usually has fuel to spare before the landing stage. It also has a stock rover .
