If I remember right, a dev said the 48-7S was overpowered as the result of a typo, and will be corrected next patch. Any chance we could get a really micro jet engine? Like, smaller than 0.625, maybe with thrust to match somewhere around these tiny engines you've just released? My ultralight pilots would be most appreciative.

This seems like the way to go. I'd also really like a 1.25 -> 2x0.625 adapter. Mostly posting to say thanks, though. Your pack is awesome, and your mini-NERVA enabled one of my long-time dreams: (Subsequent versions of this plane use your .625 fuel tanks as well - they're pretty much exactly the sizes I wanted, too!)

Just downloaded this via Taniwha's 3.1 release... the drills don't seem to expand/retract at the moment. Is this normal for now, or am I experiencing a bug? I've already landed a launchpad, which seems to work normally.

Just chiming in to say how much I love these engines for large-scale interplanetary stuff. I've been looking for a part like this for quite some time! Here are four of them on a mining freighter:

Since we\'re sharing cheatplanes, this is the best I\'ve come up with - it can reach orbit on a single original C7 fuel tank (with plenty to spare.) After a tiny burn to get off the pad, it can circle at about 250m/s up to 13000m, at which point I turn on the engines. Also capable of various high-altitude cruises. Landing speed is in the thirties, and is pretty easy; it\'s a tail dragger though, so make sure you come in at the angle of the horizon.

So if we were to try and make these reactors fill up fuel tanks... how would we do that? Is it possible?
