You'll probably be let down once you see it, but it goes over Eleven THOUSAND meters/sec. This was accomplished FULLY under powered flight, I never coasted for ANY amount of time. This was taken the instant fuel ran out, and is a good view of the ship

Is it KM or M because 9000km/s is WAAAAAY more than 9000m/s

If you just want to practice orbiting, this is the easiest and simplest way. You can escape easily with it, but you wont be breaking any speed records since it's just 1 small Liquid rocket. I have gotten 4800m/s with it after escaping, that was very far away though, gravity had almost no effect. Ration the thrust while your in the atmosphere, you'll waste it overcoming gravity and resistance.
