  1. I really hope to see this work out well... I guess I might as well start work on an X-15 too. Though... I have yet to run the game with the B-52, so if there's enough space, I might just slam my X-15 into the bomb bay, instead of lugging it on the wing like it should be.
  2. Sounds great man. I'm interested as to how you'll deal with the variable geometry... Though I expect such to be static, since there's no real way to make parts move like that in stock KSP. Still though, I have no doubt that you'll do an amazing job with it.
  3. Ooh. Loving this thread. Personally, I'd really love to see the XB-70 "Valkyrie" thrown in... Ah, the strange things that the cold war led to.
  4. Incorrect. Oxidizer is the correct spelling in English. (Please see http://www.thefreedictionary.com/oxidiser%E2%80%8E as it has no results. I know it's not a complete dictionary, but it's a start) Whoops. Just looked a bit deeper, turns out both are correct, though it's spelled "Oxidizer" in KSP. Probably makes a bit more sense to spell it the same way as in-game.
  5. SSTO doesn't seem to be appearing on the forums... Either that or I'm too blind to see it.
  6. Thanks to MechJeb, I completed my grand tour of the entire Kerbol system with relative ease. Everything on my ribbons is the grand tour (excluding Kerbin, Mün, and Minmus).
  7. Well, my posts were eaten by the Kracken... but, I'm willing to say that this is effectively abandoned...
  8. Well, I just stumbled across this. Now to combine this and Hooligan Labs airships, and Lazor mod. 101st KerAirborne here we go.
  9. Well, have you seen that Doctor Who episode? Well, their tone of voice is changed, plus, I imagined his helmet visor being blackened quite nicely. And well... I won't explain it for those who are going through that part of the new series of Doctor Who.
  10. Oh lord. I'd do an operation similar to yours, HoY, but I'm just trying to scramble stuff together for a launch window coming up in a couple of weeks. Timing is key, but meh... I can usually recover a bad launch via my little friend, MechJeb... but I prefer to not use it for most things. Just the alignments I totally screw up and such... and sometimes urgent supplies. Fun times are ahead. Though it's nice being able to finally get fuel for my (less than efficient) older rovers that I use on initial bases. Though they can fly, so I may make some adjustments. Anyway, enough going on about my missions! Tw1, yeah mining the sun certainly would be an achievement, but that Doctor Who episode might just wind up happening on one of the Kerbal's crafts, then. Jeb: "Burn with me." Bill: "What the hell man?! I'm Bill, your friend, remember?" Nowhere for poor Bill to run...
  11. Thanks guys. I didn't know that there's Kethane on every celestial object, as I've never actually utilized Kethane before. And the Kethane Rig sounds like a good idea, I might try that as well, not just for Laythe, though, if my scans on Kerbin show any Kethane underwater, which it's sounding like that'll be somewhere there.
  12. I hate to sound like a fool, but is there Kethane ANYWHERE on Laythe? I'd just like to know before I launch my modified version, which is much heavier than I had anticipated... Thanks!
  13. I'd love it if the Grand Tour shield were implemented soon. All of the things with the Multi-Part ship device are ones that I've made it to with one ship (though it has gone back to Kerbin to replace broken rovers and missing/stranded kerbals) other than obviously ones like Eve and Jool, and Duna (I think that my crashes on those are worth recognition, mostly because I was a fool when I did those, and I accidentally de-orbited stations on Eve and Duna). Though I did go to Ike and left the Impactor device, by accident. Currently en route to Eeloo, then off to Moho! Which could be the longer route, but the launch window opened sooner for Eeloo.
