  2. I'm pretty sure this is a re-ask but I can't find the information anywhere. Bill, Bob and Jeb are looking to go on a grand tour, collecting science as they go. Since they will be returning to Kerbin (hopefully), I figured I could recover the data opposed to transmitting it (crew reports and eva report I'll transmit for 100% the data). I was hoping to keep to the main 3 person capsule, (MK II I think), but don't know how much data it can hold and/or how to store more? Thanks in advance, Nick.
  3. Hi, I know this is probably an easy question to answer but I recently returned to playing ksp and cannot find a way to download 0.23.5 ARM. My store account only shows 0.23 as available and I can't find it anywhere on the forum or online. Can someone please help? Thanks, Nick.

  6. I defiantly agree that recover should be in the inflight pause menu, going to the tracking station to end all my flights when there back on kerbin is a pain.

  8. Lets be honest, with the new update (0.21) we all want to make the chief air traffic controller spill his coffee... The challenge is this, how much coffee can you make him spill? Buzz the tower and screen shot your craft passing close by, your score (and the amount of coffee spilt) is dependent on your speed at time of passing. Simple as that! SCstock or not, I don't mind, its just a but of 0.21 fun. Added rules reflect feedback: - Craft but be runway launched, and runway landed. (With the hole craft intact and stoped on the tarmac) - Rocket engines are banned (because y'know... topgun theme... ) - Hitting the tower, although would cause the greatest spilling of coffee, is not aloud. - All players must first request a flyby and get the give the response "negative ghostrider, the pattern is full" (I'll take your word for it that you said it outloud ) - When passing the tower, the flight must me approximately level attitude, approximately inline with the windows, and as close as you can get to the tower. This pass criteria will be judges as fairly as possible by myself (I'm quite easy going:P ) - craft must me crewed, although there is no bonus for extra crew - Parachutes are 100% banned, not even as a drogue for landing. - Previous entries will be kept in a pre-alteration leader board - Two screen shots are required, One of the flyby and one of the landed craft.   9. This is what my space station look like atm: The problem is I don't know what to do the the far end of the station. Does anyone have any good ideas? I'd like for it to at least my thematically useful, however I don't want to hold crew as there is no passage though the station from the to get to it. I dont like over using mods, but i don't mind installing them if there gonna be useful and and in-keeping with the stock theme. I already use mods like mechjeb and deadly re-entry ect. Thanks in advance for any help / advice. Nick

  11. I've managed the hide a drogue behind the covered docking port and have started deploying that after the re-entry effects have stopped, thanks for the help
  12. I am finding that my mk 1-2 command pod with the head shield isn't aero-braking enough in the atmosphere. from a 15okm apo and 0km per my pod it hitting the ground at just under 900 m/s. (the shoot over G the second I try opening then at 5km because it was going at stupidly high speeds. Is this just happening at my end or is there a way I can aero brake more?

Think simple, you need a good number of RAM air intakes to jet engine radio, I use 3 but that not necessarily the optimum. only carry one, maybe two (to even out weight) liquid fuel tanks and then enough rocket fuel tanks to complete the orbit. -With my SSTO I start with a strait up climb -Start rounding our slowly at 10KM (bit like a normal gravity turn) -Start lowering the throttle about 20KM -Ignite airospike at 27KM -Full trottle and shut down jets 30KM (im going quite fast which is why I can keep the running so long) -Continue as normal I hope that helps, here is a picture of my SSTO if it helps at all http://imgur.com/a/KpkiO
  14. Does the Kethane mod work with KSP 0.20? If so, how do I load it? I've tried putting the parts in the parts folder and pluging's in pluging's folder and so on for all parts of the mod but it doesn't work for some unknown reason. Can anyone help me? Interplanetary refuelling relies on it
