  1. This is a much needed addition to the Kerbal universe. looking forward to this release. make sure the cargo decoupler makes the cargo give no drag if possible,it is tucked away after all. and zero decouple force, other wise it would launch itself into the bay, I would think.

  2. Did someone say "eagle kethane tanker"? One of the first things I did, made this two days ago.

It has a very slight lean forward, very slight. a small tank adjustment would correct it but its so little it is not a bother. it handles as if it were just a regular Eagle, kinda. The vtols have a hard time slowing descent.

Love the eagle. small problem I have is that the legs fall off pretty easily.

  3. @Zuff- Do you have any antennas/sat dishes attached to your craft? The 'remote command' unit does not transmit a signal on its own, it needs an antenna or sat dish to do so.

side-note: a fully staffed 'remote command craft' does not need to be in contact with KSC for it to transmit its own command signal.

    Remote command + 5 kerbals + 5000k antenna and/or 50000k satellite dish=profit. No KSC connection required.

  4. I think where my problem is that I think I need a remote command to relay the signal when all I need is a remote control to relay the signal? Which if that's right, I feel quite silly and apologize.

You can bounce the signal with, depending on your mission, a remote control antenna(250k-very short range-EX: Rover control from a near by lander/low-orbit relay sat) or a RemoteTech antenna/dipole(5000k-short range-EX: High orbit relay sats/Keo-synch).

Or you can use sat dishes(50000k and greater) but They must be pointed at each other to do so. So, unless you want to put sat dishes on all your craft followed by manually going to settings window and points the dishes at each other, use antennas.

A 'remote command' is not needed to relay, as you suspect.

  5. :0.0: You,sir, have my full attention

Lovin the Kethane pack, by the way. Can't wait to see where you and the team take it.

    Miner and Sniffer(probe)

The miner is version one and never actually mined anything. It was just a flight test. version 3 has double the batteries and 3 drills(version one had 6) and 4 parachutes other then that they look the same.

The "Sniffer" I am very happy with. Pat myself on the back for the "3d" design, as simple as it may be :sticktongue:

  6. Has anyone mentioned the "infinite" kerbal spawn bug?

happens when you eva a kerbal into a crewtank then use the lazor system to warp them out of the vessel. It will place a physical kerbal with the same name where ever you warp it out to while keeping the same named kerbal in the crew tank.

made 5 of the same named kerbals and stood them next to each other. I am assuming I could have made more.

my craft had a 3 man pod and 4 crew tanks.
