  1. I represent Labor Representative Dilmar Leonid Kerman, Chief Secretary of Leonid Advanced Applications. We at Leonid Advanced Applications do not choose sides and would prefer to deal with highest bidder. We present system of two aircraft for ground support role. The Leonid L-19, a short range hypersonic interceptor and Leonid Logistica, a long range cargo aircraft.

    Only mod used is Spaceplane Plus, Mechjeb just used for endurance stats and removed. Craft files in the album.

  2. I saw the movie yesterday in IMAX. It was an amazing experience, almost more like a really long amusement park attraction. We probably won't have a movie set in space with more attention to detail for a decade or more. Absolutely worth the 18 bucks or so for an IMAX ticket.

  3. I'm using the Unity Assets Explorer to extract the Kerbal head tex files. I assume the sharedassets0/kerbalHead.mat is the correct one. Anyway, I extracted it with the Convert TEX to DDS option checked. The file gets extracted, but is still listed as a .TEX file, but I was told to ignore the file extension.

    When I try to open it with Photoshop, I get a "could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document" error. I have a DDS importer plugin for Photoshop, so I don't understand why it won't open.

    Can anyone help me?

    This was posted earlier in the thread http://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-png i tried it, it works. upload the tex.dds file and it will turn it into a png.

  4. Speaking of the skybox.. if I use cubethesphere, does anyone here know what my image resolution and aspect needs to be to get perfectly clear 2k sized tiles? I actually can paint spacescapes and.. i want to do a true fantasy one, ie colorful and brighter. Like the inside of a nebula to some extend...

    Would it be correct to paint it at 6k*6k and make it fully tileable? (Just making sure I don't misunderstand...) working at 6k*6k is not fast ;p

    I was wondering this too, haven't figured out a straight answer. I've been using a picture 8k by 4k. It seems to convert fine to 2k tiles. It needs to be twice as wide as it is tall.

  5. Under 100 parts. Everything other than returning from tylo or eve can be done under 100 parts easy. I'm counting building in orbit. As long as everything used to build it was under 100 parts and the final station/ship is under 100 parts. Constraints breed creativity. Just as much as possibility.

    Edit: Give or take 5 parts, for people who don't use mechjeb or something similar.

  6. I play this game on a 545 dollar special deal chinese laptop I bought a year ago. It actually runs alright, better with the new updates. But I just feel like people who can't run crazy thousand part vessels should have a thread. I'm ready to contribute.

    Edit: Just figuring a bunch of people don't contribute designs because they don't think them complicated enough.

    Double Edit: Not soliciting PC building advice.

  7. Some of us in the KSP remember a time when things weren't so sleek and well designed. When design was based on necessity, not the whims of congressman, or the paranoia of safety committees. The XF-Dodo comes from that time, originally a experimental cruise missile, designed to carry two warheads just in case one is a dud. It was later adapted as a trainer ssto.

  8. I use it but I always get a white line on Kerbin xD

    If you are using photoshop try this, when lining up selections with free transform you can use the arrow keys to shift the selection around by one pixel. That way you can work zoomed in and not have to worry about being a surgeon with the mouse.
