  1. I think it would be very well change the concept of how it starts in KSP.

    Let me explain.

Now you can build a rocket start, simple, but after all, a rocket flying and a capsule using parachutes.

I think it would be best to start with just one vehicle field explorer.

So, first we could only explore on the ground, around the KSC, collecting samples and gathering kerbal sensations.

Then you can think about the air exploration and then space exploration.

    I suggest you start with:

    - EAS-1 External Command Seat

    - Probodobodyne RoveMate

    - RoveMax Model M1

Later, the research and development list should more logically divide:

    - Improved terrain vehicles

    - Rockets.

    - Flight control and navigation.

    - Aeroplanes.

    - Progress in the environmental study.

    Thanx. KSP 0.22 it's great!!!!

  2. Basic I (To walk around KSC)

Basic II (To fly around KSC and the KSC's continent, taking samples of every terrains and biomes)

Mun Raker I (To Mun, 3 flights)

Mun Raker II (To Mun and Minmus, 2 flights)

Climber 001 (To push any ship out of Kerbin's SOI, go to nearest planets and return)

Planet Reacher I (To reach Duna, fly over and return)

Planet Lander I (only designed, never flew). After this mission that flew once, I decided to put the TAC Balancer plugin to manage to manage fuel easyly.

Planet Lander II To reach and land in planets and moons with low G. Is coupled to Minilander I (based in Planet Lander I design) and Returner A (only a mediun fuel tank with one nuclear motor). With that design I flew to Duna, fly over, Minilander undocked and land. After launch, approach and docking to Climber 001 and Returner A. Then went to Ike, orbiting at around, Minilander undocked and land again, and finally I returned and docking another time but to get back to Kerbin had to empty the Returner A and discard. Also with that design I flew to Eve, fly over and orbiting at around so closed. Then went to Gilly, the moon potato, orbiting at around, Minilander undocked and land. I returned and docking, and get back to Kerbin all right.

Station Alpha (To recharge the ships Planet Lander... in space without landing in Kerbin) IN CONSTRUCTION.

  4. Hello! This is my game in KSP 0.22 Career Mode called "Making Science".

They have said and now say a lot about the latest update of KSP, but the truth is finally starting to make sense. The sense that a game should be, with a start from almost zero, developments, improvements, and end targets victory you did your best chance.

And we know we still improve in the future. Maybe the technological tree is not the most logical right now. I really wish they were separated by areas: evolution aerial, rockets and spaceflight, terrain exploration vehicles, and research technologies.

It would also have been great as suggested by r4m0n in this plugin:

    http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/53192-0-22-TreeLoader-Custom-Career-Tech-tree-Loader-1-0

... but I always like to start the challenge of using only what puts Squad, parts as plugin, so I do not I will use until later. And maybe by then we have another update with more interesting technological tree.

Well, here I list Complete Experiments I found and their science values. It is based on the experiences I've been doing. All you can see in the photos on the album that I attached below.

    Missions:

    - FSC: Jeb and Bill are on vacation, so Bob has to perform experiments in the Space Center. The first mission is called FSC "First Science Capsule" and is intended only for a Kerbal field visit around and bring some samples in addition to reporting their own feelings.

In the first time, Bob reports and bring samples of LaunchPad and KSC. A total of 24 science. Bob went to R&D "Research and Development" laboratory and completed in the first step "Basic Rocketry" (-5 Science) for use a Mystery Goo Containment Unit.

In the second time, Bob used the system stability of the capsule to fall off the launchpad and report their feelings at KSC. Also noted that the Mystery Goo was getting bored. Also make a second time reports and bring samples of LaunchPad and KSC.

At the following times, make other Mystery Goo observation at LaunchPad and KSC, and more reports and bring samples of LaunchPad and KSC. 24-5+15+6+7+2 science, total 49.

    - MRM: Jeb has come eager to fly. So scientists have developed a very basic rocket to fly and land in the vicinity of KSC called MRM "Minimal Rocket Missions". Jeb flies over and makes Mystery Goo observations at Kerbin's shores, water, tundra and grasslands, etc...

    - TPR: In TPR "Two Phases Rocket" Missions, Jeb attemp to fly to Highlands and Mountains. Also Mystery Goo observations and feelings...

On the other hand, has been able to reach the top of the atmosphere, and also to the vacuum to fall back into the sea. Jeb flew in near space (70 to 250 km altitude) and high space (250 to >517 km... altitude)

    To be continued...

  5. Congrats Squad!!!!!!!!!! It's a great release!!!!!!!!!

I think I need only one thing: a list of science.

I mean what I think it would be cool is that the Research and Development unit had a list of science that can be done and sciences have already done. It would also be interesting know what Kerbal was recorded that sciencethem.

    Thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. I initialized with this first flight a new space program, Taurus missions, to get get back to all the planets and moons of the system using only stock parts.

As always, and because I think it makes the game great and interesting, I use a single mod, MechJeb, and only as an aid in the guidance.

I promise that I always will control the power of the engines, the decoupling, the moments to find interception phases and landings.

I use only MechJeb as an information tool and as a standard ASAS (indeed ASAS always include it in the design to compensate the "realistic" weight)

That Taurus mission only has one crewmember, Jebedaiah Kerman, which should always do an EVA on the target object and then landing at KSC, where it will be picked up by a DEMV-II adapted to land rescue.

  8. How in the HELL did you land safely on Moho?!

Every attempt I've sent there, even tiny probes, have burst into flames before reaching the surface!

I do this lands with cool motors. Durgun capsule engine "Mini Micro Kerlin Liquid Engine" is the best.

But it seems to other engines with lower temperature resistance is much more difficult. I have to try, I'll tell you!!

    Ciao!!

  9. Never once used mech-jeb :P and also, great job :D I succesfully completed my mission on landing on everything about 2 weeks ago :)
Well, is possible. I myself have all landed moons without MechJeb. Still, I don't like the feeling of descocontrol both flight and handling without him, and not knowing critical data as the actual height or initial weight of the ship, and other data.

In reality, the astronauts always have all the information at hand, computers do millions of calculations, etc.. If you tell them they have to make a flight with only a few stabilizers and four not entirely reliable indicators ... :) :) :)

  10. I have the strategy planned out for a Duna landing, confirmed with a bit of assistance from MOhon's orbital diagram up there. So far, I have the ability to get to Mun, Minmus, and back from each with relative ease. The last time I tried to even get to Duna though, I got nowhere and decided to abort the mission after 3000 in-game days :P

Hopefully this time I'll have better luck :D

    I hope it!!

    Ciao!!

  11. Well, the idea is that there is a maximum speed for the opening of the parachute and that they do not break when opened. We must take into account both the weight of the ship as the atmospheric pressure.

At 5000m the atmospheric pressure is less than 2000m, and is better Kerbin wait to get to 2000m to open the parachute.

Anyway, always good to try to land on earth with a ship with capsule and motor support.

No engine support must try ditching.

    Good luck!!

  12. Wow congrats! I've only been able to tame Kerbin, the Mun and a lucky encounter with Eve (but when I tried to EVA my kerbals were killed due to glitchy terrain)
You left the ship when you were still a lot of height?

Did you fall on the sea?

Well, I have the theory that to fall on Eve ice sea must be done at very low speed, if not certainly explode. :)

    Ciao!!
