1. chilling on EVE, first successful rover launch on a different planet
2. I didn't mean to insight a debate about weather it's sol or sun or kerbol or sun, i just made a scale since i'd seen so many naff ones that are wrong aha. in case you were wondering i used Universe sandbox to do this image (excluding the sun earth and moon, cause the sun looked octagonal due to it's size compared to the bodies) I'll be making a few more images soon comparing the planets and there counterparts in our system
3. This is the kerbol system to scale* with all the planets and moons, and also the earth and the moon as a comparison**. *this scale is to the best estimates that the wiki would give me, and also gilly has been scaled up slighly as it didn't even show up before. (not that it's that visible now any way aha ) ** i would have compared the sun in this scale to... except it would have dwarfed everything.. aha
4. Jeb's first expedition to Jool, managed to get an encounter with Laythe, he landed... with some "difficulties".... but hey he got there now he'll be a hero for the rest of his life.... he should have plenty of supplies that were meant for return :L aha
5. New wallpaper for you guys aha
6. That pic D: OMG i cried... aha, i like the idea of building your launch tower, having it as a requirement for your rocket you'd have a chance to scale the tower and drag it closer/further away from the rocket, it would be quite interesting adding that aspect to it.
7. It's the intense gravity that you have to worry about, crashing at 100'000 m/s isn't going to be fun
8. Agreed, it would be very nice to map the moons and new planets, looking out for interesting points, maybe as you map it you can open a 3d model and study it to a high level of detail
9. I've sent requests to all the big gaming youtubers no luck yet but all is not lost
