Wow, all of those craft look amazing! it seems that you have a silk touch for bulilding ships. i really like them.

besides of using wings connected with decouplers, use the connection with simple small hardpoints.... check if that helps...

because they look awesome and fly better than other VTOLs...

Ladies, Gentlemen, Kerbals.... i present you... THE FALCON V!: This is one fine piece of one-crew ship... is capable to reach mun and minmus even if you are not fuel-saver (like me ) its a very simple and no-cientific design, very easy to control that will help on the first flight of someone... The staging is a little wrong, but it works correctly, even with mechjeb... as you can see... is simple... Dun dun dun duuuuuuunnnn... (yes... i used mechjeb for minmus... i was bored....) As you can see is a simple long range ship! perject for Jeb:0.0: comment! (heres the .craft file)

I think that you can add one more fuel tank and the spaceplane will orbit with more fuel without alter the ship stability....
