I have found in testing lunar landing modules that hitting the ground on the lander legs will detach the engine. Just decrease your sink rate is the only answer.

What is the sequence of assembly and useful ideas for the 'radial coupler'? I didn\'t see the radial coupler at first and could never get the thing to hook to other stages without blowing up or breaking itself. Once I found that piece I was left questioning why it would hang out of the bottom of the lander in thin air, etc. I must be doing something wrong. Is there a simple lander with a rocket stage attached to download? Or maybe just a simple assembly diagram or instructions?

I've seen several screen captures with a graphical orbit display and other data. How do I get that to pop up?
