They just said (on the kurtj stream) they won't be adding countries and that they like to think that as a species this what the kerbals are all about (and that they're just bad at it). I take that to mean my theory is correct

Wow, going from the demo to 0.16 was mind blowing but 0.17 looks like its going to be even a larger jump. If the stepping stones are this huge how expansive is the final game going to be :eek:. Can't wait to get to the new planets!

Oh yeah, also wanted to thank KSP for getting me to review my physics notes. Going into third year Physics program with an astrophysics specialization at university and normally don't review my notes over the summer, KSP actually got me to crack open a textbook before September. So thanks!

Hi, new here and fairly new to KSP as well. Just crashed on the moon though so I figure I'm up to speed enough to join the community, so hi! Funny theory I've got about planet kerbin, there's only 2 space centers and nothing else on the planet, yet there are a ton of kerbals. To me that means they're entire civilization is based on space travel which is pretty awesome if you ask me. This theory goes down the drain when they enhance Kerbin later but for now, their entire evolution and civilization progression has been devoted to becoming space travellers (note they have no unmanned missions ).
