  1. Due to the inevitability of changes in manufacturer part specifications the UHLV II series of vehicles are no longer a viable method of transport. On behalf of KerbCo. Aeronautics & Space Division, I present to you the UHLV III series: The rocket itself is powered by four individually stabilized Primary Lift Units, each carrying over 10,000 units of fuel and a single BFE series engine rated at 1200 thrust, coupled to the central Payload Bus Unit providing an all liquid fueled approach to heavy lifting. The UHLV IIIb Variant features solid rocket booster assists for massive increases in off-the-pad lifting capacity. Here you can see a slightly modified version of the UHLV IIIb attempting to loft a payload of 80 tons of fuel (2000 units). Addons used: Sunday Punch's Wobbly Rockets NovaSilisko's Pack Vaccer's Junk Parts pack Corona688's Tuned SAS modules. Edit: Derp, forgot my attachments
  2. So I noticed that I constructed that rocket out of parts that are no longer in the newer versions of the parts pack, ergo I present the UHLV IIb Mod 2: Mostly the same rocket, just added the vernier thrusters to assist with aiming this beast. Uses Sunday Punch's and NovaSilisko's packs with a dash of the_bT's radial stack decoupler with Corona688's tuned SAS kits as a garnish. Note: Due to Sunday punch deciding to double the capacity and weight of the 3m fuel tanks used in this, the rocket no longer works.
  3. Don't know what this post is supposed to represent The design was originally meant to provide heavy lifting capacity without relying on insane groups of solid rocket boosters, I have since added SRBs to increase lifting capacity and fuel efficiancy on the first stage, that said the 8 SRBs around the first stage are entirely optional and the rocket will launch without them. As far as a flight manual to those who want to attempt to fly this thing just know that if you are using the SRBs, Do not launch with more then 40% throttle.
  4. So I've been working on this concept for a while and came up with this. Twice the size of the launch tower, and KSPcalc says over 170 tons loaded I have no idea what the maximum payload capacity of this thing is. Nothing special as far as mods, Sunday Punch's and NovaSilisko's packs with a and a dash of the_bT's radial stack decoupler.
  5. Can you post the file? I would love to have a go at attempting to launch that thing.
  6. No fuel flow on 0.9x4. Also the attachment appears broken. 7-zip refuses to open it.
