Just finished my second MILOS (Minmus Inspective Lander Of Science...) mission, the first one had to be called off after arriving in orbit around Minmus due to power issues. Jeb broke the flag MILOS stands proud (and rather tall) on the minty lakes of Minmus A rather aggresive reentry procedure And all dat science, I can sense the scientists drooling all over it already

I did an aerocapture through Dunas atmosphere with a periapsis of 10000m but I came in a bit too hot at about 2400m/s so I had to retro burn to bring my apoapsis down and after a few more burns I was in a nice 71km circular orbit.

I was testing the emergency parachutes on my new space shuttle that will hopefully go to the new planets. At launch it lost stability and started to pitch over so I disconnected the launch stage and opened the parachutes, safe to say they work but it's best to be over flat land.

Nice to see that my interplanetary shuttle tests are going well...

My plan is to go to the next planet out with an atmosphere and use a shuttle I am testing to see if it is suitable for the mission. Just need to strap something to the bottom to get the thing out of the atmosphere to set me up for the journey there so I can (hopefully) glide gently down through the atmosphere and land safely like a plane. With parachutes for emergency landing of course.
