Well I did it, but I cheated (fully stock though), used unlimited fuel; took about 40 minutes to capture it, but got around it. I have a few screenshots but not on my laptop, that said.. it's VERRRRRY hard to fly, anytime I turned on SAS (maybe it's because I was using the big SAS not the airplane sas?) ... it just tossed around etc. If I weren't using the cheats the craft would've blown up on the surface, lost a wing when it came tumbling down, but you can certainly fly around for sure. Gravity wise Laythe is about.. kind of in between Kerbin and Mun. But jet engines certainly work!... but if you really want to fly around you'll need something VERY.. VERY stable.
