  1. Here you go I'm running Ubuntu 13.10. My video card is an AMD radeon hd 6970 lightning and I'm running the open source video drivers. Indeed, it's downloaded from steam and I'm launching it with launch options "LC_ALL=C %command%_64" Thank's for replying.
  2. Hey guys, I got a very strange problem: I run ksp with a whole bunch of mods: KW rocketry, ksp interstellar and B9 being the largest ones. I could launch this in 0.22 without problems (with the LC=ALL thing). Now with the update of 0.23 and the same mods (also updated). KSP crashes at startup: It shows me the loading screen and after a while just disappears. I have tried launching without mods: it worked. Also with a few mods it worked, this got me thinking it was a problem with low RAM so I tried the 64 bit version: this crashed, even with the xxd patch. Anyone have an idea what the problem could be?
  3. The directory you need to be in is the directory where your KSP is installed (the one with the executables in it). On ubuntu you open the terminal by doing ctrl+alt+t. When you have the terminal open you are in your home directory. Navigate to the KSP directory by typing: "cd DIRECTORY YOU WANT TO GO". Then you can do "LC_ALL=C. /KSP.x86" Also, low FPS doesn't have to be an excuse to not upgrade to 0.20. The low FPS need not to come because of graphics, KSP can be quite RAM and CPU intensive. "Improvements" don't always mean it will get slower, according to SQUAD they did a lot performance-wise in that update too:
  4. Hello everybody, I got a very strange problem. The green nodes on which you connect your parts dont appear so I can't connect anything at all. I do use the LC_ALL=C command to start ksp. I know I have had this issue earlier and fixed it but I can't find the relevant posts anymore (probably due to a forum issue). Anyone have this issue or have an idea for a fix? EDIT: Also I noticed that some of the smaller parts have scaling issues and are much bigger than theyre supposed to be. This all sounds like interchanging of commas and periods, but I already applied the fix for that. When launcing just the capsule it appears 5000 kilometers above kerbin saying that my velocity is 0.
  5. Great mod, this should be in stock KSP! I have a question though: When I click on any of your tanks in the part list, my KSP crashes without any error, it just vanishes. It could have to do with me having modulartanks installed, I heard there was a compatibility option for this but I don't know how to install that. Thanks in advance EDIT: Even without any mods, except this one of course it crashes as soon as I select a tank.
  6. What mods ad those tabs next to the science tab? The jigsaw piece I know is from subassembly loader, but I can't seem to find it for 0.20. And what are those two other tabs?
