Thanks for all your help. In the end I solved it...and I am very embarrassed. I had to disable the application profile on the AMD CCC. That fixed everything. Thanks. P.S Disabling HD 8570M literally gave me 1 fps when I opened KSP, should it be the other driver that is disabled?

Thanks! The odd thing is I went to my device manager recentlyand updated my drivers and even AMD says they are up to date. I will try another windows update and reboot.

My resolution is set at 1920 x 1080. There are currently no launch commands present for KSP either. Here is the report: http://pastebin.com/LVEG1t7H Cheers.

Hi thanks for the reply, I opened my output_log file and the graphics card being used was "AMD Radeon HD 8750M", as I have duel graphics set to on for KSP. An interesting point in the file was that it states it has tried all resolutions when starting KSP but all had failed. My laptop is plugged in and I am not on power saving mode, I have changed the graphics settings as well through the AMD catalyst control centre but the issue is still there. Each time I go to open KSP, through steam or from the file destination, as an administrator - you name it, I get a black screen on my computer. A few times I mashed the keyboard in frustration and managed to bring up my desktop for a second and then hello black screen again. I have uninstalled, rebooted, tried different launch options through steam. I managed to get window mode working but the black screen issue yet again arises. I looked through the log files for KSP and all was normal until I saw a multitude of reports reading: "skipped rendering frame because gfx device is in invalid state (device lost)". I am convinced that this surely can't be the game itself. I am so irritated that i cannot play my favourite game, HELP! Laptop 64-bit Specs: RAM: 16gb HDD: 1tb Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 8650G + HD 8750M Duel Graphics (8650G ~760mb and 8750M 2gb) CPU: AMD A10-5750M APU with Radeon HD graphics 2.50ghz
