Thank you =] this was made almost a year ago now, it was when the largest part was the orange fuel tank or it might even have been before that. Anyway it's not compatible now =\ but they added bigger mk3 parts, so you know what that means =]

Sorry for the terribly late reply, but no there's no room left inside, it's entirely all fuel tanks What you can go is carry quite a bit of cargo under the fuselage, or quite a lot of cargo above the fuselage Once they update the aircraft parts I plan on making another large aircraft, maybe something like the An-225, or something entirely different from any real life aircraft

I usually play KSP completely stock, but I decided to download a few mods including the Interstellar mod I was curious if there was any elaborate tutorial, or webpage which specifically talks about what each part does and what is needed to get the alcubierre drive functioning properly? I did manage to find this helpful website https://github.com/FractalUK/KSPInterstellar/wiki But basically I want to design a starship using the warp drive as the main propulsion, with secondary engines to maneuver it around planets and moons, does anyone have a setup like this? Note: I'll just be playing in sandbox mode right now, not career

Thanks Ryu I appreciate it =] =]

That sounds like the best choice, I think I'll do that =] -

I did not know this, thank you for the information! Do you know if there's a page with the exact numbers? -
What planet has the smoothest surface
Nebula posted a topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
So I want to build a small space station extremely close to a planet or moon (with no atmosphere of course) and I was curious as to which body had the smoothest surface features in KSP? The only reason I want to do this is because I tried it with the Mun and it was amazing to have a space station in orbit about 2 km above the surface and watching the ground fly by, but any lower then you're prone to crashing into a mountain. I was just wondering if any of you knew off hand, I couldn't find anything in the quick search I did, if not that's fine =] -
Thanks! and yeah looking at some other peoples crafts, they have smaller aircraft but some with twice as many parts. If I go near 1000 parts though my performance starts to drop =\

I would love to make a Kerbal An-225, but I'm still waiting for the developers to re-model/re-texture the aircraft parts. They honestly haven't changed much since KSP started, even the one cockpit doesn't allow you to look through the window. I'm in no rush for them to work on it, I know it's a space based game, but I don't want to start on something major and then have them re-work the SPH parts and have everything not match right or be uncompatable Honestly though rather than an An-225, I would like to have a single massive SSTO, and I mean MASSIVE. I'm talking about carrying a payload of 64 tons (Two Orange Fuel Tanks) into orbit, and a larger scale model being an interplanetary SSTO capable of carrying a payload of 100 tons. It would literally be a space station/cruiser that could land and take off on Kerbin yet travel to Jool and back (did I mention all of this would be stock). Unfortunately I don't have any ideas on how I would go about such design, but there was one youtuber and forum user who did make a stock interplanetary SSTO that was capable of carrying a 36 ton payload (one orange fuel tank) to Duna I believe, or Eve Maybe when I have more time in the summer I will attempt this Massive Interplanetary SSTO, for Science!

EDIT: Wait. Your the same guy! Well... fantastic. Good job... dunno what else to say.

You can try it out, I actually find larger planes easier to handle, I find the quick response time of smaller aircraft can actually make landings more difficult, and I'm happy you like the post =]
-
No haha B9 is a great mod, I just like using vanilla parts, it makes it more challenging and fun when you only have a limited number of parts to use =] and anyone who plays just vanilla KSP can use it
-
Thanks! let me know if you run into any problems!
-
Thank you! and yes it could definitely fly to KSC2 and back with a heavy payload =]

This is a video of my fan work, I only put the link for people who want it, the main reason for the post is to show the video I made and to see what you guys think =] =]

I finally completed my 100% stock 747 replica on Kerbal Space Program 22,000 liters of fuel fully loaded 211.83 metric tons fully loaded 1,800 kN of thrust 647 parts Can traverse the entire circumference of Kerbin (well, if you're patient, it's not exactly fast) Tell me what you think? It is available to download! http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/kerboeing747/ The download model is at 10% fuel, you have to manually fill it higher, also it is 647 parts I apologize if it's laggy for you

This is not true. A planet mass black hole will hardly have anything surrounding it, especially if it's a wondering interstellar black hole. It would only be as massive as a planet, if anything it may have some asteroids in orbit around it. Kasuha is definitely right here. To even see the gravitational lensing you would have to be extremely close, and by that time you'd be dead. The only possible way a black hole would be introduced into KSP is if KSP goes interstellar. Such a black hole (probably being a few times the mass of Sol and being surrounded by a nebula) would be to slingshot probes or spacecraft to distant stars at high velocities

Is this still going on? I have an all stock 747 with 21000+ fuel I'm pretty sure could do this, Although it's not very efficient, you guys have these small aircraft which travel extremely high which allow them to go fast, my bulky 747 is slow, around 150 m/s when fully loaded with 8 jet engines and cruises at 8000 meters lol but as it drains fuel it'll be able to go faster and higher

What we really need for planes now!!

Agreed, and reverse thrust would be nice -

A taxiway and parking area, along with steerable wheels and reverse thrust for maneuverability, along with everything you posted -
Taxi Runway for Aircraft
Nebula replied to Nebula's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
A storage hanger located next to the runway which can save the aircraft without having the physics enabled is something we discuss in the thread, which would be a great idea, but that's more of a smaller priority for right now I would at least like a small parking area, somewhere you can sit several aircraft off to the side if you wanted just to have for looks or something -
Taxi Runway for Aircraft
Nebula replied to Nebula's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Just to sum up everything so far that this thread has discussed Larger priority of wanting: - A taxiway (moving the tower further away from the runway while also providing a more realistic look and feel for the Space Center) - A parking area for aircraft allowing you somewhere to go and save your aircraft once you've landed, maybe a hanger or two to park under - (Motorized?) Aircraft wheels that are able to turn - Engines with reverse thrust capabilities for maneuverability Smaller priority of wanting but still wanting: - Lights before and after the runway, possibly running along the runway too - One or several hangers to park and store aircraft to store the aircraft, or image of the aircraft without loading the parts, until brought back into the game - Dual runways, possibly creating a V with the Kerbal Center in the middle (I personally think would look really great) Really just discussing the major wants right now as I think those would be able to easily become implemented into the game (This comment will be re-posted on each new page so new viewers who just go to the last page of comments will be able to see it) -

Those are all great mods that I use, but I also love playing the game with stock parts, and like you said I'd love for them to become stock parts eventually -

Nebula replied to Nebula's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Yeah I know, but it's either they make powered wheels or engines with reverse thrust, which I would love to have reverse thrust, powered wheels I don't care too much for it was really just a suggestion to help people maneuver their aircraft easier and also since they'd have to re-do the aircraft wheels anyway Did I mention I would love to have reverse thrust? Air brakes too, and flaps, and a larger variety of intakes, and better engines, thrust vectoring engines.. and props! more cockpits too, I'd love to make the b-17
