[1.3.0] Kerbal Engineer Redux 1.1.3.0 (2017-05-28)
tobjv replied to cybutek's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Did you try to turn down/up the simulation delay done by KER in its in-game settings menu? edit: removed the double quote, lol. -
Keep getting hard crash to desktop
tobjv replied to ashenfang's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Shortly put you are running out of RAM. Use texture reducers or uninstall some mods to bring your RAM usage under control. -
Can I run ksp?
tobjv replied to bearskin98's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
The answer you seek is Maybe. You need to give a little bit more detailed then what you've been providing so far. You say your running .23 which is a good sign but you didn't mention what your fps is like at various part counts. (100, 200,300,400 etc till you get below 1 fps) This isn't a perfect formula to find out what your computer can handle but it can help. It won't hurt to try it out. just make sure to make a backup of ksp .23 in its entirety before you try out the new update. That way if it doesn't work you still have your .23 copy. -
FAR + Tweakscale(type "free") = Broken CoL
tobjv replied to O-Doc's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
First things first. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/92229-How-To-Get-Support-%28READ-FIRST%29 Operating system: Ram: Version of ksp you're using: When you installed far did you do it from a clean slate as Ferram warns on his posts? Did you try to replicate the bug without FAR installed? Edit:Instead of double posting just make an edit of the original post and put it like this sentence is. -
Strange VAB and SPH Bug
tobjv replied to JTG's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
First off, Please follow the guideline here so its easier to narrow down the problems. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/92229-How-To-Get-Support-%28READ-FIRST%29 Things to trying the mean time. If your using the 64 bit launcher switch to 32 bit and try again. Try the game with no mods and see if the problem persists. if it does then ksp is possibly bugged. If your copy of ksp is on steam then try a verify cache file check via the properties menu. -
Parts missing.
tobjv replied to Robotengineer's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
hmm... Did you try reinstalling the mods that are spewing the missing part errors? -
Heavy planes break the runway in 0.25?
tobjv replied to mrwinesauce's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Using Engineer Redux the max weight for the runway seem to be 1 million kg. Stay under this number an you don't blow up.* * I haven't tried to move any giant ships down the runway yet. -
Black screen whenever I open KSP.
tobjv replied to FearMe's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Try a clean reinstall to see if it fixes the issue. Also please try to follow the guidelines. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/92230-Stock-Support-Bug-Reporting-Guide -
Older Version - please help
tobjv replied to Vranda's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Yeah save your game and come back to it when your mods are updated. Just remember if you have any old MK2 plane parts or certain wings that the ship will look and behave weirdly in .25. -
Try reinstalling KSP/verifying the game cache if your on steam.

VAB Graphical Errors
tobjv replied to HMS Sophia's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Try this. If your running ksp from steam. Right click ksp in steam library go into properties>local files>verify integrity of cache. I only have steam so idk what the idea is for store version. Might need a reinstall. -
Decouplers not separating
tobjv replied to Pawelk198604's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
If you haven't solved it yet. If you look at these images you'll see the problem. You see the decoupler has two nodes and there are two tanks in the same position. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1r5ri6pug0jev5t/Screenshot%202014-10-08%2014.33.30.png?dl=0 If you look closely in this pic you see that the right one is higher up. The decouplers bottom node grabbed the storage instead of the top one. this prevents the decoupler from detaching. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ynxzuicdz1k4wyd/Screenshot%202014-10-08%2014.33.52.png?dl=0 Hope this helped. - - - Updated - - - If you haven't solved it yet. Well to put it bluntly, in the error.log is "mono.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)." Seeing this and the mods listed in the output.log pretty much guarantees to me that your running out of RAM. Try reducing your the amount of mods your using and look into mods that can help reduce textures and stuff like this one. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/59005-0-24-Release-3-4-Active-Texture-Management-Save-RAM-without-reduction-packs! Note that ATM isn't updated yet. I cant read anymore than that from those things.

Access violation
tobjv replied to skeltar_rancid's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Lol woops didn't check the date of the post... The .25 graphics issues happened for most of us since the settings.log was wiped though. Since you said it's still happening on a clean install with no mods (post the logs for that btw) it could be a computer itself issue. Things like file location and whether or not your admin on your computer can give out those errors.
