  1. Hopefully this becomes a big part of the quality of life improvements list posted by another user: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/118317-Quality-of-Life-improvements-list
  2. Folders Folders Folders, quality of life would be far greater with VAB/SPH craft Folders :')
  3. I can't image it being much work and it would add so much to the game by adding what is fundamentally so little!
  4. As title says. We have this for all of our parts but not the many many many ships we're going to be designing? I don't think this is difficult for the developers to do, but I think it's nigh impossible to mod because of the lack of access to the .craft retrieving system built into the game. Devs could do this in a day and bughunt it in two days (I doubt there'd be many bugs to hunt). I'ts not a big ask, and would bring alot to sandbox and career players alike. While you're at it sub-assemblies could have a folder system too! I was among the first to suggest this ~2 years ago and it's been suggested countless times before, there's no reason not to add this. Edit: Other posts detailing this suggestion http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/108293-Folders-in-SPH-and-VAB-for-Craft-file-organization http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/93073-Ability-to-place-crafts-into-subgroups http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/108377-Craft-File-Folders (I realize 2 of these were posted by the same person)
  5. Odd how people that never get attacked by the kraken are alos the kraken; SUSPICIOUS!!!
  6. Orbiting around the sun without fuel, power, solar panels, or any docking ports; in a very awkward orbit. FOR SCIENCE!
  7. I've noticed I've changed playstyle now that career mode is out; I'm designing ships the same way I design creatures in Spore, adapting the same craft as parts become available. This isn't a bad thing, but I find it interesting... What habits have you changed now the limitations of career mode have been applied?

  9. "Hydraulic Detachment Manifold" What is this?
  10. -0 -0 -21 Haven't played in a while due to patience on getting an ingame objective; call me a purist but until that happens I'll just test the odd addition or two. Hopefully .22 brings this.
  11. Mine is even more abbreviated: -P- = any type of probe (must be specified) -L- = any type of lander (must be specified) -M- = any type of manned craft (must be specified) -T- = transport (aircraft eg: K-P.T - A probe based transport) -K- = present in all craft (stands for Kerbal) -R- = any type of rover (must be specified eg: K-M-R - Rover that is manned) -LI- = any type of lifter design (must be specified eg: K-P-LI - Lifter designed to carry probes) -LO- = any type of craft designed to travel to low orbit (must be specified eg: K-L-P-LO - A lifter designed to take a probe to low orbit -HO- = any type of craft designed to travel to high orbit -KER- = craft designed to go to/orbit Kerbin -MUN- = craft designed to go to/orbit the Mun The list could go on and on... here's a rather complex craft name: K-MUN-LI(HO)-L-M/P May be called Munlil for short, the craft is capable of being ran without being manned by a kerbal, is capable of high orbit around Kerbin without the need for an additional lifter and is capable of a Mun Landing.
  12. Personally I think .22 is going to bring alot of players back into the community (yes BACK) I haven't played (but have supported) the game for a while, the lack of an objective in the previous versions and the lack of resource mining updates put me off. This will bring me back; something that would have brought me back last update would be a simple folder system for organizing craft; I like things organized!!
  13. Best thing I made first time was when planets were added, I sent a parachute-equipped lander to duna in one try, no mods, no quicksaves, nothing... The rocket wasn't even that big!
  14. Folder. System. In. VAB. Please. This is the only thing I ask for, I'd be happy with the game if development were to finish tomorrow, provided a simple folder system was prominent in that build. Back on topic: The tech tree should be interesting, I don't know if/how tech is to be obtained, unless it's contracts for money/research or money that you can spend on research, but who knows; I'll leave that to the devs
  15. The only thing I want is a folder system for my spacecraft for organisation. Call me boring but I can't play without that for my upcoming project. :/
  16. Yeah just larger RCS thrusters would be nice on some of the bigger craft instead of having to strap loads on
  17. Rover construction/testing facility: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/45376-Rover-testing-facility?p=582952#post582952
  18. I mentioned this in an older post, I feel the idea of having a rover testing facility would be really useful and fun, varying gradients and terrain to test the durability and difficult of landing rovers in varying locations you can choose from. It would be useful for people wanting to test the tipping point and max speed of rovers, AND would provide more buildings to makes KSC look slightly more full and / or virbrant. Possibly coupled with a payload construction facility for landers, station parts, and rovers? (This would make the VAB for lifting vehicles) up to the devs really.
  19. This could work too, but it would mean the Spaceplane hangar is made borderline redundant, and quite a bit of modelling has gone into creating that. :/
  20. 1:30 of that video is something I would adore to see in the vanilla IDK why enhancements and optimization isn't in the list of suggestions for this post.
  21. I can't be the only one that read this in a BdoubleO100 voice right?
  22. Rovers are very sketchy to build in the VAB without the right symmetries and other such malarky, I've mentioned this in another suggestion regarding folders for organisation of craft (it's not as interesting but equally useful). With this rovers would be easier, faster and more intuitive to construct, a small rover testing facility would go a long way too, testing different inclinations and rough terrain on rovers. A simple solution to this would 'just' be 3 seperate symmetry modes available in all assembly buildings: Spaceplane symmetry, Rover symmetry (might be identical to spaceplane now I think about it) and normal bi, tri, quad etc symmetry. Food for thought
  23. I want a folder system for the organization of spacecraft in the VAB/Launch pad
  24. The description of craft can only be viewed once selected in the VAB or when choosing craft/crew directly from the launchpad
