  1. Not technically a wallpaper, but fits nicely in the middle of the desktop.
  2. I fly and die in Orbiter as well as KSP. The two are complementary. What KSP lacks in fancy instrumentation and places to go (so far) it makes up for with sheer craziness. If only I had two PCs side-by-side so I could conveniently play both at once! Strangely, although I can see the faces of my Kerbonauts, both terrified and nuts, I feel more relaxed about slaughtering my crews in KSP than Orbiter. The seriousness of Orbiter makes me feel as though real people are at stake. Of course, this hasn't stopped me from, say, bungling a Luna-Earth return trajectory and asphyxiating a CTV crew... ???
  3. This is really a fantastic tool. The orbit MFD every Kerbonaut needs! Now if only it was integrated directly into the game UI... Any chance of a calculator for plane changes, or for de-orbiting with a specific landing target?
  4. They should really have some nice mellow tunes playing in the capsule to calm those two down. Of course, maybe they tried that, but some twisted tech put the stereo controls in front of Jeb, and he's a fan of 'Friday'... Trying to get anywhere in one of these ships with the brothers still alive reminds me of a pertinent quote from Serenity: 'This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then - explode.'
  5. I was starting to doubt I would ever get Jeb and crew into a stable orbit. On what I swore would be my last attempt, success! Not a pretty orbit, by any means, with perikerb at 53 km and apokerb at 352 km, but at least they aren't going to burn up or run out of oxygen waiting to come back. Even had enough fuel left for a re-entry burn. Bill and Bob still look terrified, though. I don't think they believe they've survived.
