Where is the craft file or was this just a complaint?

When I had issues like exploding rockets, I completely reloaded the game. No save files, no mods. I then loaded back stuff one thing at a time. (I never did put back in my save file and I think that was the corruption that was causing my issues.)

Only MecJeb. I've just done a new clean install and that resolved my issue. Not sure what was going on, although I've done a handful of updates recently and tried to keep some of my old stuff going. Might have borked a file in the process. I'll reinstall MecJeb and keep marching. Thank you, Max

I've downloaded this space station but they are all spraying flames in the VAB, on the launch pad, and while attempting to launch. Needless to say, I haven't gotten very far. What is causing the spraying of sparks, even in the VAB? OK, took a closer look in the VAB. There are some engines on the middle core, the smaller type with the smaller tanks. They appear to be greyed out, not allowing me to do anything with them. Further, they spray sparks in the VAB. On the launch pad they shoot exhaust and flames out sideways, and continue to do so after launch. I've yet to control a launch or fix this issue. It looks really cool, but so far I can't use them. My other ships seem to be fine.

Mr. Rickenbacker, you are spot on. It worked perfectly and very simply as the others have stated. Unfortunately, in my haste to test this new found knowledge I forgot to attach a parachute to my test capsule and another Kerbal gave his life to expand my knowledge. Well, maybe he will save countless other Kerbal souls by his sacrifice.

Greetings. I'm relatively new to this, but am having a ball. So far I can orbit Kerbin, the Mun, and had a near encounter with one of the planets. I even almost landed on one...almost. There are many great Kerbalnaughts who have given their all for my space program...and a few that will, when their capsules run out of air. I have even managed to get a few of my Kerbalnaughts back to Kerbin. (Do you realize how many things you have to do wrong to escape the Sun's gravitational pull?) My question: I'm having issues attaching SRBs and having them function correctly. I would like to attach a Solid Rocker (fuel) Booster to my first stage, have them ignite with my first stage, but be able to separate them when the are expended. So far, I've had no luck doing this. I have figured out how to move stuff around on the stage gage while building. I can even use the snap-to and symmetry buttons....I just can't seem to do well with SRBs. Thanks for any insight you are able to provide. BTW, I've done numerous forum searches and didn't have much luck finding the information I need.

Oh, I bought the simulator after only a couple of hours playing the demo. It's a hoot. I haven't tried the ESC....I'll do that now. Thank you!

I stumbled upon this program while reading XKCD, tried the demo and immediately fell in love. This simulator is very cool and I've had fun blowing up ships and learning how to get to orbit. Now, however, I'm getting better and my little Kerbalnaut is actually surviving some of my test flights. Therein lies my problem. Once you land safely, how do you get back to the hangar to rebuild or start over. The only way I've been able to figure it out is to exit the game and restart. What am I missing? Thanks in advance for your assistance. I look forward to many wasted hours enjoying this simulation.
