Thats because nodes assume an instantaneous change of velocity, but since that isn't the case it needs to adjust and move since your burn takes time in order to get the exact orbit one planned with the node.

Love this shuttle, really good. I wanted to replace the landing gear with B9 because it is bigger and prettier but I'm unable to reach the nose gear since it is hidden inside the cockpit.

Got a working spaceplane with Mk3 parts. It need quite a bit more work (aka thrust) since it can barely bring any cargo. Maybe I should just strap it onto a rocket...

Did my first interplanetary mission, to Duna. May have slightly messed up my aerobraking and ended up going straight to Duna, with my interplanetary stage and all. Second I discovered I had not disabled crossfeed from my lander så that is completely out of fuel. So not only do I have to send a new interplanetart stage, I have to send a completely new lander AND land it somewhat in the vicinity of Jeb.

Got it into orbit and back, manually adjusting thrust and making the engines on the plane part less restricted
