  1. there were several threads about this when .19 released, but of course they were lost in the great forum crash of 2013. So good find! Also why do people call it "magic torque"? Aren't there gyroscopes in command pods and probes that allow them to rotate or something like that? EDIT: Holy Ninjas Batman!!!
  2. I name my crafts after characters from my favourite movies and tv shows, and the people who make them. Right now the Doc Hammer is stranded in orbit around tylo awaiting rescue from the Jackson Publick.
  3. FusTek adds more docking ports that are much strogner than the stock ones. There are 1m and .5m ports that will connect to the vanilla ports of the same size. As well as 2m wide and huge 3m wide ports. Quantum strut is also very good for strengthening docking connections.
  4. are you running vanilla or have you intalled mods? I do know that that the editor tools mod changes both the symmetry and snap to angle icons into numbers. EDIT: Ninja'd
  5. in the newest release of mechjeb, there is a landing autopilot that lets you set a visual marker on the planet from the map view. The only other way to mark a location (that i know of) is to send a prob to the surface and use it as a reference.
  6. When i first started playing this game (0.18.4) i didn't care much about the debris, until i started targeting ships and trying to make maneuver nodes and kept accidentally targeting debris. Now i design all my ships to leave spent stages in a sub-orbital trajectory, or put a probe body on the stages that will reach orbit so they can de-orbit themselves.

  8. at least we can edit our profiles before we make 5 posts. I just can't right now because i am at work, the best place to spend time of forums!
