I don't play KSP anymore but I am still pretty proud of this mod I almost finished, and a guy by the name of spannermonkey asked me for these files and seemingly finished it, but AFAIK never released it here is what he made http://i.imgur.com/LnLaTJa.png and heres the files I originally had, which don't have the stage inside the fairings and the fairings are see through on inside http://www./download/458gs3i5hpw03dv/BlkArrow.rar I can't remember whats wrong with it or what needs done it's been so long but just read the thread in my sig
  2. That would take an extraordinary ammount of effort to UV map your model the same as the NASA one, and you would likely see seams and it would not fit as well as that

Are you claiming this NASA model as your own? http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/3d_resources/assets/SSO_3DS.html I downloaded your files in the OP to take a look and yes the texture files in your download are the same as the NASA one, these would not fit onto a model that is not the NASA one, why would you not just say it is NASA model? edit: I did not realize your brother has made a new model from scratch, but the one in your original post I am sure is the NASA model and I am wondering why you did not declare this
  4. Hey blazing, I had this problem while making my black arrow mod, does it look like that in the VAB? the problem for me was I did not move my model to 0,0,0 on the grid in my 3d modelling program before export, so it was offset in unity

  8. Yes I am just stuck feel like an idiot still being stuck on animation after about 10 replies saying how, I think i'll need someone to do the animation part for me to be honest

  13. Yes, I will probably model the external tank and boosters myself instead of using a NASA model like this shuttle, don't worry though it will look decent
  14. Couldn't you just reduce the parts drag to 0 in configs

Doesn't work, because it's one sided extruding just pulls it in from the visible side Spearka, I don't know exactly how to scale things to accurate sizes in KSP but considering the probe body fits in the fairings, and there is meant to be another stage called waxwing, I'd say it's not too far off From memory I think there are fuel tanks taller than it in game
  16. Know my way around 3ds max, have made my own mods and models for them (made my black arrow mod from scratch) , can get models ingame and do configs, only thing I have trouble with is UVW unwrapping!! I can't do it, would need someone else to do that for me.

  18. wacool, that makes about as much sense as making a saturn V mod and releasing the first stage 3 months before the rest!
