  1. But then what am I going to do with my cubes os box? It is fun to play with I'll admit but now it has a better use..... KSP!!
  2. Guess Its time to start running ksp in its own little special locked down vm on qubes lol
  3. Sorry bought it way back when it cost like 5 bucks I'm already screwed
  4. Sorry I may be wrong haven't downloaded it yet so please excuse my assumption if it is wrong.
  5. Really guys??? The completely up front in your face opt in sending debug info on crash that has appeared on first launch of the game since what way back in .18 or .19 is just now stirring people up? Seriously, you have to click yes for it to do anything. All other traffic out is usually mod based. So opt in is now bad? Really?
  6. modded like crazy no crashes here only strangeness is in craft files I've downloaded that are massively clipped or using modified stock parts. An old craft file of my own was causing the loss of the cameras lock on the center of mass until I found the bugged part and replaced it in the vab. ie all the bugs I've experienced so far have been more or less user error.
  7. sorry i've got a killer cold atm. apparently launch clamps supply power now so disregard my previous statement.
  8. @IgorZ the harpoon seems to be working correctly now simply releasing it won't trigger an attachment you need to eject to get enough force. Only thing is, it doesn't seem to take any electric charge anymore. The winch that is.
  9. @IgorZ did you see my observations on the harpoon above?

  12. well I don't think its supposed to be super strong.
  13. ctr k for the debug menu then crtl left click on the part you want to modify
  14. @IgorZ Ok, this is an observation. Still couldn't get harpoons to work until I opened the debug menu and changed the "above dist" from -.05 to .18 Hopefully, this information helps in your conversion efforts. Actually, anything above .18 works, but looks very odd.
  15. @Koritastic I owe you an apology. I failed to clean out some old junk from my attempt. a clean rebuild and it seems to be working fine kis at least. Not sure if kas is behaving correctly still.
  16. @Koritastic Your rebuild had the same errors mine had, and I'm assuming the maintainers had. All the parts are there, most of the menus work and the magnet in kas works but only if you jack the break force way up. the harpoon and grapple does nothing. in kis you can add inventory to containers in the vab but you can't access them as a kerbal you also can't grab move etc as a kerbal, none of the menus work as a kerbal. I would do a little more testing before saying you have a working version.
  17. Haven't run into any obvious bugs as of yet. So far so good, outside of your stated bug, that is. test build on ksp 64bit 1183 with universal storage.
  18. ok tested new build 1183 again. Flight to mun same as last time everything includeing cameras worked flawlessly. lost power on the way back all the panels died as they are supposed to. The center of mass never wavered. I would say your set. rpms for scansat and mechjeb also work perfectly, can control mj through jsi panels and see scansat maps.
  19. oh no problem. Not trying to rush you. Was just hoping to help with error reports as this is one of my favorite mods.
  20. using your new test version again on 1183 Not seeing any errors in the log but the cameras are still nonfunctional all the other displays work flawlessly. Can even see the fov in the vab just nothing on the display, and can't scroll through he attached cameras either. nothing errors though so not sure what the problem might be. this might be completely bogus but vds hull cam was mentioning the same center of mass fall back that I was experiencing. when they had those cameras installed, but as I can't see through the cameras in rasterprop, I don't know if they are even doing anything.
  21. concerning your test release on ksp1183 64 bit with the cameras installed. You do not get a fov marker in the vab, and while in flight the camera loses track of the spacecraft until you manage to timewarp then it reacquires. in the log i see a lot of these : [EXC 21:13:00.031] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object RenderingManager.AddToPostDrawQueue (Int32 queueSpot, .Callback drawFunction) JSI.JSIExternalCameraSelector.CreateLightCone () JSI.JSIExternalCameraSelector.Update () and in the data log NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at RenderingManager.AddToPostDrawQueue (Int32 queueSpot, .Callback drawFunction) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at JSI.JSIExternalCameraSelector.CreateLightCone () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at JSI.JSIExternalCameraSelector.OnStart (StartState state) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Part.ModulesOnStart () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Part+<Start>c__Iterator25.MoveNext () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) in the vab im assuming and these inflight: [EXC 22:05:27.839] TargetException: Non-static field requires a target System.Reflection.MonoField.GetValue (System.Object obj) JSI.JSIMechJeb.AutopilotEnabled () JSI.MechJebRPM.GetActiveMode () JSI.MechJebRPM.UpdateRootMenu () JSI.MechJebRPM.ShowMenu (Int32 width, Int32 height) JSI.MonitorPage.get_Text () JSI.RasterPropMonitor.FillScreenBuffer () JSI.RasterPropMonitor.OnUpdate () InternalProp.OnUpdate () InternalModel.OnUpdate () Part.InternalOnUpdate () Part.Update () and the data log TargetException: Non-static field requires a target at System.Reflection.MonoField.GetValue (System.Object obj) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at JSI.JSIMechJeb.AutopilotEnabled () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at JSI.MechJebRPM.GetActiveMode () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at JSI.MechJebRPM.UpdateRootMenu () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at JSI.MechJebRPM.ShowMenu (Int32 width, Int32 height) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at JSI.MonitorPage.get_Text () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at JSI.RasterPropMonitor.FillScreenBuffer () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at JSI.RasterPropMonitor.OnUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at InternalProp.OnUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at InternalModel.OnUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Part.InternalOnUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Part.Update () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) I also, can not get any of the cameras to show a picture on the screens. 22. It is a skill when you build in a way not intended by the developers. Because at that point the auto staging is royally messed up and you have to hunt and repair.
  23. personally I like the mechanic. But I consider it rather horrifically bugged atm as the stowed flag doesn't go away when the fairing does. Assuming of course the fairing is never staged. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to add a check to see if A. the fairing exists on the ship and B. if there is anything above/below the fairing when the engine in question is staged.
  24. this is what your looking for. I really liked it to maybe someone will pick it up http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/98270-WIP-Plugin-0-3-3-Flight-Computer-Fully-automated-flight-programmable-via-VPL
