  1. the KE-J65 Zero-Bypass Turbine works on any atmosphere without oxygen as its configured right now.
  2. strange i have alot of the same mods as you and only know of one incompatability with mm and thats the exsurgentengineering dll that comes bundled with b9 to run the sabre's
  3. don't know if this will help, but i had a simular problem and it turned out o be the chatterer cfg file for mm that was messing up the stock eantennas for me. they replace the animation with the chatterer module instead of just adding the chatterer module to the end. I assume that mm works on a first come first served method and when i changed a file it processed the rbr file first and made it impossable for the rtech file to work
  4. actually you can use a dish to talk to omni directional antennas. The dish has a longer distance transmit/recieve ability so it can hear the omni from much farther away, and the omni can pick up signals sent to it from a directional antenna just as easly as from a omnidirectional antenna. This doesn't actually increase the range of the omni but it does allow for communication at a much longer range then between just to omnidirectional antennas. you will note that remote tech models this by increasing the range of the omni but only for the dish thats pointed at it. its range is not increased globaly
  5. exsurgent engineering dll conflicts badly with module manager none of the mm edits work with it loaded, also the exsurgent dll is rendered inactive so the sabre engines in the b9 mod wont actually produce thrust, they just sit there and suck resources

I'm pretty sure its caused by a conflict between exsurgent engineering and module manager youll probably notice with the exsurgent dll loaded all your MM edits are not working either I have to remove MM to use the jets but then all my comsats don't work so I'm not useing the sabers atm and leaving the exsurgent dll out

  9. lazer seems to update all docking ports regardless of origin i can personaly confirm that it works out of the box with fusty's parts
  10. I wouldn't mind playing with it i would just say theres a crazy messed up solar interaction with the planets magnetosphere that causes garbled communications at those altitudes
  11. wow I always thought that the ksp was kerbal space and penitentery and that all the kerbal pilots were convicted mass murderers/serial killers thus the extreme disregard for them.

Well loaded this rocket up put it on the launch pad checked the map and saw that hey im in a pretty good position for a single burn to munar intercept if this rocket can perform like the Saturn V. started the launch no just like you have it in the file no mods burned through first and second stages by the time the third stage was almost burned through wasn't sure if id make it but just as it died i had munar intercept total burn time was just over 6:30 minutes. opened up the shroud spun the cm around docked with the lander initiated a small correction burn to put the perapsis at 100K then coasted the rest of the way burned to a perfect 101X101 km orbit transferred 2 kerbals to the lander and started my decent. after landing the kerbals got out stretched thier legs a bit jumped back in and took off leaving the landing gear behind that was very cool btw. docked in orbit with the cm transferred kerbals and remaining fuel to the cm and burned opposite side of the mun to hit kerbin influence once inside burned again to lower perapsis to 30K dropped the lander (realize this isn't how it was done in the actual appollo missions just wanted to keep at least the lander from becoming debris. after getting close to kerbin burned the rest of my fuel to lower my interface speed and dropped the fuel tank. hit the atmo at just over 2.4K ms after the flames died and the shock cone died out (have far installed) popped the chutes and landed nice. I love this rocket
  13. yes your launching from space. no you don't need TWR to launch from kerbin. you need enough launch clamps to keep it from collapsing untill you can click to send it to your spacedock
  14. to xZise its not breakable in its stowed position like solar panels at least that is what my impression of this is. And to jdp you sir have made my day ever since i first downloaded this mod I've been crying every time i 'pointed' a dish and it didn't actually point bravo and well done
  15. This is very awesome, just spent the last 2 hours flying one of the probes around duna. The microsats are also amazingly easy to use/launch. Seems much quicker though not sure I have enough of an infrastructure up to really lag it yet. So far an amazingly cool upgrade to an already cool mod.
