You can use Ninja Ripper to extract 3d Models from the game.

I would love it if there was a version of this mod with a much dimmer starfield with the nebulae effects removed. It seems like it would be a nice compromise between the total blackness you have and the absurd starfield in the game currently.

They have to be the same size. This should be in How To.

If you could do Laythe with Jool in the background, you shall win the BGraves' Desktop Photo prize.
Here you go!

This isn't your art!!! I've seen this before, by ANOTHER USER.I used to have a thread here, but it got decimated during the Oktoberfest...
He probably changed his name in the great Kraken attack.

I love it! It has a very distinct style that looks awesome. Please make more.

Kerbin is awesome. Though, I feel, that Duna kinda lacks on clouds - there should be some. At least nearly invisible, but they should be there.
That's actually a really good idea! I need to make a list of things to do on version 2.0.

Please for the love of all things kerbal make more!
I'm working on something featuring everybody's favourite green gas giant right now.
-
My goodness, those pictures are amazing!
How did you draw them?
They're not really drawn. I use 3ds max to render a sphere with the appropriate textures. And then I take it into Photoshop to finish it off.
-
Sweet!
The relief is just a little high on Duna, though, don't you think?
Yes, looking back I think I you're right.
Mind if I use them as my desktop background?Absolutely not! I'd be honored.

Here's some Kerbal Space Program inspired art I've made. I had posted the one of Duna before the great forum collapse, but I thought I'd post it again.
Please feel free to offer constructive criticism and ask questions.

I decided that using fuel as a propulsion source is less than optimal.

What did you use for your Kerbin texture? The 1080p one took ~16min to render, while the 2K one took ~25min. Rendered Mun's surface, Kerbin and its atmosphere separately, then put together using the Nodes Editor (how powerful are they ^^) -
extracted the planets texture out of the game and used it as a basic reference for terrain generation, color and ocean zones
May I ask how you did it? I've been wanting to make a good Kerbin for a while now, but I have't had a good texture.

Wow! These look really good. What did you use as a planet map?
