  1. im getting ready to transfer to UW's astronautical engineering program... I guess having been working towards this, the game was very easy to get into and understand, so i know it gave me a leg up the opposite way your asking about. But as far as it affecting the the other way around, without being a programmer or mod maker i feel i am missing out on a lot of the learning from the game.
  2. just had my girlfriend who is Russian watch the newsfeed and she said they didn't say they knew what happened either
  3. mmmmm math . by far my favorite part of playing this game. No other game gives you a chance to sit down and bust out some fun equations like this one.
  4. ^ that's assuming earth could even form in a universe like that
  5. That's the point. What he is listing are things that are mathematically impossible. What he is saying is that if light moved instantaneously through space then everything would work differently and none of our mathematics or physics would work.
  6. I have actually used the current dev build of mapsat for .20 to fully map Kerbin, Duna, Ike, and Dres with relatively zero issues. And the new layout is very favorable.
  7. Oh haha, my bad. Thanks. Has there been any new easter eggs found?
  8. I had an unplanned reentry and as I was coming down I noticed something, so I set up a mapsat mission to look for anomalies and sent out a mission to land at that spot. Found a bunch of pyramid's there. Wondering if this is new to .20 or I just missed it before. Couldn't find anything searching.
  9. I believe this is due to the velocity they have around a central gravitational point, not the rotation of the stars themselves. We know from special relativity that as velocity increases mass does as well.
  10. removing an electron from a noble gas is extremely costly, energy wise, much more so than i would think your returns would ever be.
