  1. The Falcon X jumbo transport is one of the best design I've seen so far ! Congratulations, Monsieur.
  2. Thanks ! There are actually two air intakes in front of the fuel tanks on the side, if that's what you mean. I could replace them with hight-altitude ram air intakes, but the normal ones were looking closer to the original aircraft. UPDATE : Added a screenshot, specs., download link and user's manual !
  3. Haha, actually it's more about the fun of having a solar ship, because it accelerates as well as me-when-I-have-to-go-to-uni-after-a-party-with-the-hugest-hangover-ever. Seriously, even with 7 ion engines, it's a space-snail. I'll work on that, maybe find a way to add a lot more engines.
  4. Good evening everyone ! I present to you Solar One, the first solar powered personal yacht ! Specs. Propulsion : - 4200 xenon units. - 7 PB-Ion reactors. - Max thrust : 3500 N. - 480 monopropellant units. - 12 RCS linear thrusters. Electricity : - 18 OX-STAT Photovolatic panels. - 6 Gigantor XL Solar Array. - 2050 electric units. - Generating up to 121.5 electric units/sec. Equipment : - 1 front shielded docking port. - 6 Communotron 16 for long range communication. - 6 front Illuminator MkI for a good visibilty when docking another ship. Screenshots. 5. Thank you all ! I'll do some measurements and add the specs. I'm also working on a long-range / bomber version ! Haha, thank you, but actually the Rafale and the Typhoon are two different aircrafts ! The Typhoon is made by Eurofighter, a consortium of many companies from UK, Germany, Spain and Italy, meanwhile the Rafale is made by a french company : Dassault Aviation.
  6. Rafale by Dassaut Aviation Hello everyone ! Here is my latest creation, a (kind-of) replica of the french fighter Rafale, by Dassault Aviation. It's a twin-engine delta wing spacecraft, designed for medium to long range missions. It's also the first version, so it may change in the future ! It's a super-stable aircraft once you have SAS enabled, but it requires a bit of practice to fly (it cans over-react easily if you are not careful while inputing commands). Specs. - 910 fuel units, allowing long range missions. - Maximum speed of 1200+ m/s at 18.000 meters (Warning : the Rafale will start to heat up at this speed in the atmosphere). - Maximum control and agility under 8.000 meters. - Very short take-off distance. Here are a few screenshots : Download link. http://dl.free.fr/l5393T9oG User's manual. Step 1. Disable SAS. Step 2. Enable smooth control. Step 3. Full throttle, pitch up. Step 4. As soon as it starts to take off, stop pitching up, and engage SAS. Step 5. Fly it gently, disable SAS to maneuver and as soon as you have a pitch/direction, engage SAS, it can fly for hours without any input commands. Do not hesitate to leave any feedback, comment, etc.. And thank you for reading !
