I've experienced this beeping just now after sending my 3rd satellite into Kerbin orbit. First instance was after decoupling the payload from the KW fairing base I heard 2 pattern beeps and they sound like: beep beepbeep beep... kind of weird. I went back to the space center and switched back to my satellite again and heard the beeping sounds in the same pattern. This has never happened when I sent out my other 2 satellites before. Must be something transmitting signals out there and it's being intercepted by anything that has antennas? Image of the satellite a few seconds after hearing the beep (KSP v0.22):
