  1. I don't do anything with gravity at all, nor mess with the physics in any other way. All the code does is change the vessel to the "landed" state.
  2. The best way to learn is to read code from other mods. Adding a sound is quite common, you should find plenty of examples on spaceport. There are only a few, very basic tutorials around.
