  1. This is my Spittlefire Mk VI that is based on the legendary WW2 plane Spitfire. Craft file: Spittlefire
  2. Mods used are B9 only. I tried to make a kerbal version of the Worldwar 2 airplane Spitfire. I've used alot of clipping technology but only sensibly. It's really acrobatic and will lift from the runway without input, you just have to start the engine throttle up and turn on the SAS and it will gently take to the skies. 3. Thanks all! I'll try these things. About asparagus staging, how do you do it and still keep structural integrity? I tried it but they broke of during going up... And yes I did use struts... But perhaps not in the correct way, how would you do it?
  4. Thanks for the kind words. Any suggestions for improvements?
  5. It's a station I'm trying to get up there with a rocket lifter. What engines would you use?
  6. Hi I've Been building spaceplanes for awhile but now i'm trying to get a spacestation into orbit. My question is How ? The station weighs in at about 80 to 90 tons and i want it up in one go. Is it possible? What Should i consider? Anyone got any rockets i could download and learn from? I don't like the way stations look With all the dockingports when you break it up into smaler pieces. I hope i can get some guidence. Thanks for reading.
  7. This is one of my first posts but i felt like sharing this craft with you all. I build things in KSP thats the most fun for me.... i mean it's like Lego! anyway I build stuff to look cool but at the same time be functional. I want to present The Kerbwing. My first and only creation this far. have you ever heard of the Batwing? well this is a Spaceplane based on that design for the superhero Batman...maybe we have any aspiring Kerbal heroes that want there own Spaceplane? It features: 3 Jet engines 2 Rocket engines 1 Docking port 4 Solar panels Various lights an ejectionseat if you ever would need it. The fuel is routed with fuellines so the fuel drains from the back of the plane to the front to gain stability and avoid flipping. The mods I use for this craft is Mechjeb, engineer, KSPX The craft itself is mostly Stock really, i've got a few fueltanks that are not stock but the rest is. Action groups 1: Activate Rockets 2: Activate Jets 3: Close/open Air intakes 9: Open/ Close Solar panels 10: open/ Close Docking port Thats it and here it is: Craft File: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21296321/Kerbwing.craft I am very interested in critique and sugestions to make this fine craft even better. Im sorry for any spelling errors, this is not my native tounge Enjoy!
  8. Hi guys and gals. I've built an SSTO that I can get into orbit with quite easily but it flies like a brick. I start and tilt up and from there go up into orbit but if I want it ti behave like a normal plane it fails miserably.... it wont turn, when i try to roll and pull back to turn it just won't budge from it's current heading, it just flip flops and then its back to it's original heading. what am I missing here?
