Oh man, old games... I'd have to say Super Mario 64 for sure, and also Spellforce (the first one). Also Age of Empires II, which I still play online. But my all time favorite has to be Vendetta Online, an eleven year old space MMO that's still running strong. http://www.vendetta-online.com/

I haven't been playing long enough to devise any weapons, but this YouTube channel (it sold me on KSP) has created entire war fleets, with some pretty epic pure stock designs. http://www.youtube.com/user/MaceyDean/featured
