  1. I landed the first of <nope> many parts to a Mun base, near a probe i had landed near the memorial. I was only about 2500 meters away and I decided to lift back off and move it closer. Yeah, i crashed it, taking out the probe as well. Now stuff sits where i land it and I leave it alone.
  2. If you use the aerodynamic tailcone, flip it upside down, and nest it inside the large orange tank, it will give you the effect you are looking for. Noted from the NOVA SHLLV in the ships forum.
  3. Found out I was editing the wrong files. With the filesystem changes in .20, the modules are in a different directory, not parts. The file on spaceport does work, as long as you put in the correct directory. Thanks for the assistance.

I have been trying to add MJ2 to my command capsules, without success. i have downloaded the spaceport file that supposedly adds MJ to all of the command objects, but they are still not appearing. I thought there may be an issue with syntax, so i replace the standard mechjebcore with the mechjebar202 in the .cfg files of the items in the hope that would cure it, no joy. What changes need to be in place and where to add the functionality of MJ to the standard command vessels? Thank you for any assistance you are able to render.

  6. I just downloaded the extra parts packs and the ?kw rocketry? pack with the huge 3.75m? fuel tanks and such. My only issue is the roof of the VAB is too short for me to even use a single of the huge tanks. Is there a mod, or a edit that will allow me to create a truly HUGE rocket without it bumping into the VAB ceiling? HE thanks you.
  7. I dont know how many parts are in that monster, other than a generic "Too Many" I dont mean to be glib, i just never checked. I decided to retire that save file and start fresh. I really enjoy the symmetrical stations, I am redesigning another now, with less parts, and hopefully less lag trying to dock things to it. Those two way docking collars may also have to go away as well, while sturdy, I have to make something easier to dock.
  8. I just finished this one this morning. I seem to have run into a small problem though. Anything else I send up to attach (rovers, probes, engines) causes a massive slideshow, resulting in the destruction of anything in orbit. I have loaded more quicksaves today than any other time I have played.
  9. That is my exact problem. Ah well. I have attempted the reload, the shuffle, i have not found anything that works. Ah well, back to the drawing board. I enjoy redesign.
  10. I have a space station, loosely based off KOC's interplanetary fleet core module. I have three of the four main modules up, and kind of connected, I am using two docking ports on long truss' to lock the four main modules together, however, if i am not 100% exact with the vertical axis, i get a lock with one, and the second docking collar floats. Is there a way other than undocking and going back for round two? I have a hell of a shortage of RCS fuel and i hate resetting flights just because the end doesnt click in. I hope i have explained enough, if not, please yell at me , and I will supply more. Thanks Folks. ** Edit ** Well, I sent up the fourth core module and decided to attempt docking one to another, doing that to the other pair, and then work them together, to make a 2X2 'Main Station Motor Module' It appears to have worked well, except I have two floating collars, they do not float much, and I only noticed when I lined it up for a screenshot. I am unable to get this pair of docking ports to lock together, any suggestions?
