This sounds great! Now we can do containers and "unpack" rovers and the like like they did with the Apollo missions. Is there anyway the weight of the stored items can be applied to the container part?

MechJeb WILL burn forever when you have the wrong "control from here" area set. Example, if you have the docking port at the top set as the control point then MJ will burn the engines while the marker gets farther and farther away. I've lost a few ships to that.

Yes. You can fire grapples, toggle the magnet on and off and lock and unlock connections. But you can't use the attachment points to the different parts. But you can launch it pre-attached. You can also have more then one KAS winch on the same object.

A probe can do the attach from the KAS part menu (right clicking on it)

With KAS you have to walk over and drag the cable/hose to the object you want to transfer to/from and plug it in. It is more fun in my opinion.

While MJ has some annoying issues and rough edges, each point release makes it that much more amazing. .9 added some really nice flow and features.

Is THAT why my docking is so bloody slow? I have tried 10 and 100 and even 1000 trying to speed it up. I will try 1 but that needs to be better defined.

I just wanted to also say that the docking autopilot has some real issues with 2.0.9. 2.0.8 (on .20) would dock in just a couple of minutes (using tones of mono) but .9 seems to move at .1 mps and constantly toggles RCS on and off and barely moves. It is pretty much unusable on the exact same craft files from .20 that it could dock quickly. If I engage the main engine while DAP is on it puts on RCS full to try to stop it (and does a good job of slowing the craft down to the .1mps). Hope this information helps in some way. I really want the auto dock back. Thank you TFM

Make sure you have 2.0.9. .8 wouldn't attach right.
