  1. Granted, it quickly turns into a black hole I wish for a computer that can run a 123154231 part ship
  2. Fantastic mod, can't believe only now found out about it. But I do feel there's one thing missing, is there a way to see an orbital map within the displays? There are all the numbers there but seeing it visually really helps, for me at least.
  3. Wonderful. Very good changes in my opinion. Now I actually have a reason to fly the data back instead of spam the send data button. I get such more sense of achievement when I actually succeed in a mission and get a lot of science, and have to plan the exact amount of science equipment that I will need to put on my rocket. Too little, I will not be able to gather all the data for science, as the equipment locks up after sending data; or too many, and will just be dead weight for the rocket. For the first time since I've started playing the game, I actually feel that I use all of the parts in the game, and actually learn to use them in different ways and for different purposes. Before the tech tree, I just used the big parts for the rockets, I didn't find any reason to use the smaller parts or different engines. When now every time I unlock more parts I can feel the variety of parts in the game. Well done Squad, you're really doing an awesome job, and I hope your game keeps being successful as it is now, and just keep getting bigger and better. To infinity and beyond.
  4. Made a little Semi-Cinematic mission video. Launch, orbit, dock with space station, and land back at the KSC runway using only gliding. I hope you like it and don't forget to like\comment\whatever you wish, if you did like it
  5. You probably already know that for some reason in KSP when you use the axis control on a plane then it goes imminently to 100% precent, no easing, even in the Caps Lock option it goes very fast, not only that, even if you use the joystick on super low sensitivity it still has hypersensitivity and quite difficult to control. If you install FAR (Ferram Aerospace Research) mod, then apart from all the other stuff it does, it also eases the control surfaces. But, because I get many complications with FAR, I rather play without it. So, is there any way to reduce that sensitivity like FAR does, but without actually fully installing the FAR mod? Thank you
  6. So, as you may know, the lazor weapons have a destruction radius, and a blast radius, that are all controlled by some file in the Lazor System mod. The destruction radius instakills everything withing the radius, and anything inside the blast radius, gets a shockwave effect. So, I looked at them, and decided to add the explosiveness to the "Bass Cannon Round" that is found in the Pirated Weaponry pack mod. I added these lines at the end of the part .txt for 20cmRound (for the bass cannon) MODULE { name = LazorWarhead blastRadius = 90 destructionRadius = 0 } So that it will not delete any parts it hits automatically, but in stead has some sort of shock wave. I've also reduced the decoupler ejection force, so that it actually hits another vessel instead of going through it, but for some reason it doesn't work, it hits the part, but doesn't even make it move, just a pretty explosion. Any ideas of what I might have done wrong here? Thanks.
  7. I just wanted to say, that after seeing this game from about patch 0.16 up to this version, going to multiple planets, building and flying numerous different vessels, installing and playing with thousands of different mods that work beautifully with the game. What I mean by "free build" is that you're free to build whatever you like with the parts available (and mods you add) in any order, in any way, and most times it will work quite well, and there's (for now at least, in the sandbox) nothing stopping you from building ANYTHING. Of course the physics are not spot on to real life, but what they intended it to be for know, it's done quite very a lot really well. And just wanted to say, thank you, and very well done squad! You're work is brilliant! Absolutely brilliant (and of course here I've only focused on some of the features of KSP, apart from designing rockets, exploring the solar system, kerbin, and yeah, crashing massively!) Squad, I take my hat off to you
  8. Well, that's just more fun isn't it? Especially with Damned Robotics to adjust
  9. The bass canon rounds seem to not collide with anything apart from the ground, they just go straight through the vessels, any ideas?
  10. Nope, I'm just firing one and it comes back flying at me :S EDIT: Sorry, I have rebooted the game and it seems to work, thanks anyway
  11. Hmm, I'm getting an interesting bug with the bass cannon. I put the round, and when I fire it, it seems to fire it from 10 meters in front of the vessel, and it's firing it to the opposite direction (right back at my vessel). Any idea why that might happen?
  12. Yes, he is kinda a noob in KSP, but it's a good time watching him (Although he did much better than I though he would lol)
  13. Yes, that is the problem that I've encountered. And on a different note. What about parts from mod packs (novapunch and etc.), how are the wings and parts affected with FAR? Does it have the same affect for modded parts as for stock parts?
  14. Hi, so although the FAR mod is great for my planes, I can't really seem to use it well for rockets... Dunno why. But nonetheless, I really enjoy having the flaps option for the control surfaces. Is there a way to use only the flaps option without the change in the aerodynamics system? Or better yet, does anyone know about a mod that lets you have flaps? Thank you and good day
  15. May I point out one bug I've experienced. I have built a space shuttle (discovery replica), and it all went fine until I got out of the atmosphere, time accelerated, and after the acceleration have of the wings broke of spontaneously... Any Ideas?
