Hi everyone! Hard to believe as it may be, it's been 5(!) whole years since I released the original Build Fly Dream trailer--I hope you enjoy this special anniversary version featuring the creative talents of over 80 community contributors!

There's just a couple seconds of KSP in it, but I bet you guys will like it anyway!
I don't think we can embed videos in these forums anymore (if I'm mistaken, let me know and I'll edit this post later), so here's a link:

KMP v0.1.5.0 is now available on SpacePort! Happy New Year everyone!

It's me being blind and stupid or I really don't have the option to set a player as admin anymore?
Before /start'ing server, just use /admin [add|del] [user] to update admin list

I'm getting a bug in the VAB that appears to be related to KMP, which is kind of weird because it's affecting my single-player saves and I haven't even tried out a multiplayer server since the update. I had other mods when I first ran into the issue, but after removing them all and trying them one-by-one KSP has shown itself to be the culprit.
Anyway, the bug itself is that when constructing rockets in the VAB, removing a part from a ship and depositing it back in the parts list makes it so you can't click on anything anymore. Can't select new parts, can't save/load your ships, can't even click the exit button, requiring you to end the system process to quit the game.
Edit: Doing further testing to see if it's .23 related or perhaps a conflict with another mod...
Edit 2: Yup, it seems to act the same way whether KMP is the only mod or if others are present.
This bug is now corrected in v0.1.4.2 available on SpacePort

We're tracking this bug here--any info you can add would be quite welcome =)

KMP v0.1.4.1, which adds support for KSP 0.23, is now available on SpacePort

How about naming that Structural Panel "Russel's Teapot"?
I love this idea, will seriously consider it.

The newest version doesn't works for me, I can't connect to any server because the loading stops when "handshaking" and the loading never ends
It sounds like you need to re-copy the "saves" folder that comes with KMP, and if that doesn't help please feel free to report the problem on GitHub for more assistance.

When I launch the game no KMP menu opens for me. Everything looks like there is no mod (KMP) installed. I do not use any other mods and copied the 2 folders to the game folder. Is there any hotkey to bring up the menu and connect to a server? Hope someone can help me.
This sounds like you may have copied the files to the wrong place or something similar. Here's a video tutorial that might help.

I keep getting disconnected because I am "running too slowly" compared to other players. What does this mean? My framerate? My connection speed? My MET clock is running too slowly?
This is usually because your client fails to keep up with other players (in terms of the physics simulation speed) in the same subspace for a long time, even with the server repeatedly sending it "catch-up!" messages. You can sometimes work around this by flying smaller vessels, warping to your own subspace (if no one syncs with you, there won't be anyone to keep up with), or playing on a server that is closer to you so that latency isn't as big a factor. I'm working on an improved same-subspace-sync mechanism that may allow the server to "slow down" a subspace under certain circumstances to give those that are running slow for whatever reason a chance to keep pace.

Hi
I need a little bit of help with the server end. I am having trouble setting the IP binding properly to my PC and wireless.
Any way that I could get advice?
You'll almost certainly will be fine using the default value "0.0.0.0"--you only need to bind an IP if you are using a large server with multiple IPs assigned to different purposes.

At least you can see other players... Just downloaded and started a server with all the correct settings, me and my friend connect and sync, but we cannot see one another even tried launching from different pads to meet up like on the runway... Am stumped in whats going on..
Just a suggestion, but i think the OP should put this "tidbit" of information in the main post (probably close to the top, too) to stop people incessantly complaining about it.
Vessels within 40km of the KSC will not be added to the universe due to the "safety bubble" that prevents launch collisions.

Can you put the updates and change log on the first post, so we don't have to search through 50 pages to find the latest changes? Also great mod, bugs aside I am amazed I can even connect to other players.
Good point--updated!

I've been trying to play for hours now with no luck  I can connect to servers just fine. All the building and launching and flight works just fine. However, when I actually try to interact with players (not just docking) I get two problems.
First is that, after a time, the list of users on the server will go blank except for myself and my status. This does not seem to be a disconnect, because I can still talk to other players through the chat window just fine. The last times this happened it occurred around when I passed 40km, but this time it happened while I was in orbit, already far from KSC.
Second, and most gamebreaking for me, is that once I launch and get 40km away from KSC my status never changes from "Preparing to launch from KSC". Nobody can see my ships, and even when I brake into Mun orbit the problem persists.
This common issue is now fixed in client v0.1.1.1 available on SpacePort

I am trying to play this mod with a friend of mine but we are facing some problems. I tried to go through all the pages but 49 pages is a lot so I might have missed something.
I am hosting the server on OSX and I can join my own server perfectly fine. However, when he tries to join my server his game just freezes and nothing happens. There are no messages in the server dialog. But we tested and he can join other servers. What why can't he join my server?
Sorry if this question has been asked (and Im sure it has) before and answered. I just couldn't find it.
Thanks in advance.
We're not aware of any OS X-specific problems, but this sounds like you may not have opened both TCP & UDP for the KMP port?

I really don't like to repost but I have Been trying to connect to every server possible since the mod hit the space port 4 days ago and I have had no luck at all. every time I try to connect all it gives me is connected to server! handshaking.... I have searched up and down the fourm asked twice and now I'm completely out of ideas and patience Please Someone tell me what I'm doing wrong Please.
Not sure what is going wrong Spears--unfortunately there's lots of possibilities. If you're still not having luck with servers you know other people are connecting to OK, please open an issue on GitHub. Thanks!

So in 0.1 when i want to save my vessel and exit the game freezes
And in 0.1.1 the game crashes when i want to join a server
Win 8 here. Don't ask about my RAM and stuff because it's just not worth it.
Sorry to hear about your difficulties--please consider posting a report on GitHub so that we can look into it further.
