  1. yep, the hammer head design, and i do know it would be difficult. ive tried several times. it would always like to break by the "heads" when trying to launch or it would just look like a tube. no one wants a tube.
  2. ok, i have a challenge for someone on this post, i know there is a challenge forum, but this ties in with this. kinda. i would like someone to try and make a ship from the Honor Harrington series of books by David Weber. ive tried several times, and failed each time. i would like to see a successful one.
  3. first, sorry about misspelling BIRCH, (got it right this time) my bad on that one, and im very very sorry about horribly, horribly butchering its name, second of all, for some reason when i was writing that horribly written post, i was thinking about commander martian's barracuda in terms of design, i dont know why i was but i was and again, i am sorry for writing that horribly thought out post. but i still think that 14 ports, while useful for transporting stuff,will still will lag like hell if you dock more then a couple fighters on it (especially on my computer). and for the carrying missiles thing, i assume that is for my whole GNSKSM (giant nasty ship killer smart missile) idea, that was just a random idea off the top of my head. something sneaky that i thought would be fun to surprise someone with.
  4. but why would you really need 14 hanger points on a carrier? even if it is less parts, it will start to lag like crazy if you put on more then a just couple fighters. and unless you just plan on putting lot of ammunition or extra fuel on the ship(two edged sword right thur now), you will have several of empty ports... i just don't see how the Birch is that much better then the vulture. yes you have the whole, "less of a chance for an up the bow shot", but, you still have an up the kilt shot. and the frontal hanger allows for surprises. what if, oh i don't know, instead of a droid in the center back port, you put some giant nasty ship killer smart missile? easier to go straight then to turn around... oops... was thinking bout the baracuda and its whole hanger in the back, just ignore that last part (sorry bout the name thing... my bad)
  5. nerdboy, that looks very similar to the aggressor class star destroyer from star wars empire at war zahn consortium...
  6. i used the fix, and im pretty (99%) sure that i did eradicate all my old kethane stuff,but still all i get whenever the drill is on my ship is just stars and engine sounds
  7. i updated my kethane mod to work on .20, but the drill wont let me load the ship, it just goes to stars and engine noises and stays there. what am i doing wrong?
  8. ok, thanks, the whole, hn ijkl was never really explained, this might help me out alot. it still gonna take me some time before im gonna be able to dock, but this should help alot.
  9. i can get to about 1000m, then everything goes to hell,but even getting to that is difficult for me. and the one time i tried docking between two ships already next to each other (apollo style craft) it still went horribly
  10. hello, ive been playing KSP for a little over a month now, and i still am not able to manage to successively complete a docking. now this would not bother me except its making me not want to play this game anymore. if i cant dock, i realy cant go to other planets or moons. now ive watched the Scott manly videos, and other videos on how to dock, and i still cant figure it out. could someone please help?

  12. hello, my name is Kaaybon and i have been playing KSP for about a week now, i have managed to get to the moon, orbit duna, put up a station core, and have a extensive network of satilites all around my system. hopefully ill be able to get better and finally manage to dock at my fledgling station.
