  1. Yes that is right, atomic engines are good as upper stages when you're in space, down low in the atmosphere you want your mainsails
  2. Sounds to me like you are turning your jets off late (or not turning them off properly). Make sure you are turning off your jets at a lower altitude, I used to get the jets firing intermittently due to limited oxygen at high altitude which causes the plane to spin. I started flying on rocket only above 10k and it fixed it. Best to bind an action group to turn them off at the same time. You should be able to hear them "popping" if this is what is causing the issue.
  3. Looks like it is a jet engine misfiring due to lack of oxygen.
  4. You can play Steam games in offline mode if you're that concerned about updates/having to be online/advertising.
  5. Good work, I haven't done any docking yet as planetary exploration has been my thing so far - but some docking should make that easier so I am planning to try soon. What were the challenges that caused it to take 20 attempts?
  6. Thanks, didn't realise how to use action groups but have worked it out now.
  7. I have a space plane design where I have two jet engines and two rocket engines. I get to high altitude on jets alone, then fire the rocket stage to try to get to orbit. However I always seem to get the situation where air starvation causes one of the jets to cut out and start the plane spinning. The only thing I have found to do is right click on the engines and block the air intakes before I get too high however this is cumbersome and I want a method to turn off both engines at once. Is there a shortcut to turn off my jets or is there a more effective way than right clicking on the components?
