  1. have you tried to hit engage autopilot on the ascent guidance portion of MJ?
  2. I too have the dev build mapsat, also with kethane 0.7.4 and 2.0.9 MJ, for some reason the mapsat locks up my entire game when I move from VAB to launch pad, just freezes with black screen and i get my spinning rainbow (osx) as my mouse, having to restart completely. Once I take the mapsat dish off in VAB and re-launch, no problems!
  3. im having same issue with kethane and MJ2, i figured it was kethane and removed it and all is well now. I think theirs needs updating too
  4. really?? that kind of sucks...so none of my sas works cause mechjeb is pullin me around just fine?
  5. my bad my bad...working well now. unfortunately its not playing nice with my probe, i think thats due to a mix with mapstat and kethane for some odd reason, or the KWRocketry kit, or KSPX, only mods onboard.
  6. ah, EVA ...idk why i even had that on. wow that actually worked. I kept thinking fuel but i know it wasn't that. how could you tell i had it on?
  7. idk if you saw my post but like i said i only used that to test the probes and have enough fuel to go to multiple spots on kerbin to see what the heck was going on. I have had it off every other time and still the same problem...
  8. Cilph, please help me out =/ why is my path going through kerbin around a complete orbit. It's not allowing my probe to connect to any other probe and then to ksc. I sat for two days trying to figure out why nothing was connecting, but its def some bad bug =/ im dying to use it as I made a bunch of probes for it but if they all connect directly to kerbin from any point in orbit until they're out of distance, it defeats the purpose of a relay. thanks!
  9. im on my phone now so ill give it a go. This is for my OSX 10.8, running 21.1 version on a clean install with kethane and mechjeb. My ship does not currently have a kethane part on it, but regardless when I launch or get in orbit I can see the grid or have the green menu open that lets me select or select the overlay grid. Nothing there so I'm assuming it does not work with the new version..
  10. does not work for me on 0.21.1. no grid popped up at launch and into orbit. cant select or deselect grid.
  11. me too actually, good news. I was hoping the SAS changes didn't screw with it.
  12. i only have it on when testing so im not fooling around and die...these are strictly testing times for this mod that's not working. Anyways, so much for covering my ass...lol I think I do have the 0.5.0.1 remotetech version, not sure with 0.21 if anything else would work at all, but this definitely does not.
  13. you are amazing!! little tiny bugs as in the rendevouz planner is a lot different, much less automatic..almost like 2.0.6 or 2.0.7, also the docking assistant is a little wacky in how it moves your ship, not a fan...other than that works awesome!
  14. ok so my relay still doesnt work. as my previous most, the new 0.5.0.1 shows a blue path THROUGH kerbin doesn't matter where its located even opposite sides of KSC, meaning it doesn't need to communicate with any other probe because it's getting a direct feed to KSC everytime. Def a gitch, and is no different in 0.21
  15. sorry guys, because of all the 500 issues, and my ignorance, the quote I was replying to wasn't included, my post obviously looked very mean or out of context so with that said, i hope mechjeb updates today, wonder if dev is working on it
  16. well least I dont feel as stupid, I was wondering what the hell was going on when my probes weren't communicating...they were all just directly connecting to KSC no matter what distance or orbit they were at.
  17. so I was just sent here to report a bug. Apparently my probe's signal path (not depending at what altitude unless it reaches the dish or antennae's max distance from KSC). It does not try and connect to other probes when not visible to KSC, it just keeps dragging the blue line through kerbin into KSC....I was wondering why none of my satellites were connecting, but then I realized they all go through the planet. Im using mechjeb 2.0.8 remotetech newest kethane newest and my probe was based off http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/interplanetary-mapping-satellite-v1-1/ and changed a few things on the probe itself I just added the RemoteControl part to it and 4 of the dishes that are white and open up like a flower (forget the name)...I also had the rF antennae, one that looks like a long silver rod thats bent in many directions at the top. Anywho, it sucks because I wanted to get a great relay going, but I cant. I only placed the RemoteTech folder and the compatability folder in the GameData folder, thats
  18. yes as i travel through the blue path goes through the entire planet, on completely other sides. I wonder if this is because I have kethane installed too? Not sure but this is probably why I was sitting wondering why my probes aren't connecting, they were all directly connecting to KSC
  19. umm, so I think I have a bug. My blue path line goes THROUGH kerbin, doesn't matter where the probe is around its orbit at 600km, it goes right through the planet and touches KSC...i'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I just put it in the GameData folder and let it be. I also only attached a remotecontrol part and antennae. Even with a dish it does the same thing instead of connecting satellite to satellite...they just all go directly to KSC whats wrong
  20. awesome thanks for the tip, i think youre right on the underestimating. Ok so basically just remotecontrol's all around until I get to further planets. makes sense!
  21. definitely makes much more sense , again thank you so much for a help, i love my KSP but i am brand new to this remotetech and its def a fun challenge I've been under to get these around each planet, im just trying to get useful info from the start. So would it be viable to place a RemoteCommand 2868km, and then 3 more RemoteControls at 90 degree orbits around kerbin, or do I even need the command as KSC has its own. and if I do need that Command probe in orbit, do I need 2 dishes, to point at KSC and take its signal then shoot it to remotecontrol probes 2 and then 2 to 3 and so forth...?
