How would the gravity assist work?

So I am planning a trip to Ike. I've built a ship in orbit. Now all I need to do is get there. I don't want to go to Duna at all. I just want to land on Ike. What is the best way to get to Ike specifically when coming into the Duna system?

I have a weird problem with the advanced grabbing arm. Whenever I try to grab something, as soon as I do I get a weird cutscene where the camera just zooms out infinitely and I can't play anymore. All I can do is go to the menu and reload quicksaves. Has this happened to anyone else? It kind of looks like a Spore cutscene.
