*server proceeds to crash*
Sorry to be pessimistic, but this happens each time. But it is weird for them to release a release date... But anyway, Excited for .22
-
Resources.
But I'm expecting:
mission system and money
more biome planets
more science flavor text
maybe some more art passes on planets like they did with Kerbin and the Mun.
more optimizations
fixing the easter eggs if they didn't do it in .22 and add science results for getting close to them.
Exactly my thoughts, except without the art passes, they aren't really necessary.

I believe in the absence of a world flag, it would be most appropriate to use the United Nations flag.

*prepares to explode with excitement*
And thanks for answering that post I put.

Sorry, I admit that I love this idea to all extents, but I just thought of a problem that could tear the idea down.
Situation:
Player 'A' has a ship (with a docking port) on a course to Duna, he made his ejection burn and timewarped out to Duna where he landed the ship, and released another ship ( a rover ). He drives that rover about 50KM due east. Player 'A' now disconnects from server.
Player 'B' has a ship (with a docking port) with 5000 Delta-V (after LKO) and has a high TWR. He is still in real time, and in his frame of Reference, Player 'A's ship is only past Minmus. Player 'B' decides to 'catch up' with Player 'A's ship and rendezvous with it. Player B is successful, and decides to (like a troll) change the general ship's trajectory, so now it is in a generally circular orbit around Kerbol (because now the ship is past Kerbin's Shere of influence).
I hope you caught the problem... Now 2 realities exist in the same server, one where the ship is on Duna, and one where it is in orbit around Kerbol. But also what happened to the Rover? It was disconnected from the main ship in player 'A's reality so it should not be affected, but It was still attached in Player 'B's reality so it should be affected. Additionally when Player A re-joins the next day what will he see, his original reality or the corrupted one? - The Rant Has Ended -
Sorry for the semi-Rant, I hope I didnt sound condescending, sorry if i did... But it is just something for you (me as well) to ponder about, but I did think of a solution while writing this: Possibly Player 'A' would not have his reality affected and would continue playing, but Player 'B' would be moved to separate server where his reality could exist as well... Thanks for Reading, hope You reply.... (I Dont Normally Sound This Formal)
Also KSP Forums, Please Implement Spell Check....! <<<The amount of Spelling Mistakes I made in writing is Hilarious.

I have seen many things pass by over me, mostly satellites, no launches, no special kind of stuff. I am going to figure out when the ISS passes by the next time to see if I can see it.
A strange thing happened to me a week or two ago. I was watching the moon with my telescope, when my mom came out and began talking to me. We looked up and suddenly this meteor enters the atmosphere. It seemed unusual as this wasn't a shooting star. I could see the actual flames of it heating up, eventually exploding into several pieces, which I saw falling down afterwards.
I cannot describe how I felt afterwards. I was amazed and shocked at the same time! I was very lucky to witness it.
That is a once In A lifetime experience... I wish I could see something like that... Assuming I don't get hit by a fragment...
-
Well I've seen the ISS but as you said, most of us have...
But here is one thing, about 2 months ago while on vacation in Italy I saw a bright dot moving across the sky (just like the ISS would) but I checked the ISS's location, and it was over the Indian Ocean. To my knowledge the farthest one can see the ISS from Italy in that direction is up to south Egypt, (which the ISS had passed). So I don't know what it could have been...

It was not only maintenance, SQUAD also moved the forum over to a new (faster) server.

I interject; I believe that somewhere it was written that Kerbals are Gender-Neutral no males/females. How about we just settle this on that.
-
Well, all the music except for one is royalty free from elsewhere. The main menu music theme was composed by Harv, I think the Credits music too.

Thanks, I spent about 4 ( I'm really not sure ) hours editing that vid. And yes it was near impossible to Dock without the Navball. Thanks for watching.

Wait, I Remember that I did this calculation before:
Well, I just did some 'rudimentary' calculations (Very Rudimentary, to the Effect that I can be wrong, so please correct me if I am) and I figured out that Kerbol's Circumstellar Habitable zone According to:Mass: ! Kerbol cannot support nuclear fusion !
Radius: About 19 500 000 KM which is near Duna
Luminosity: About 1.2 AU which past Eeloo

Hey Guys I'm Done!!! I've uploaded the Video... Say Hello to "KerbolCast" !
-
Okay, I'm done editing!!! My Video is Complete! You're mind will be Blown!
I'll link the Video in the other Thread and here later.
Note: I'll upload it tommorow as I am dead-tired from editing. Here is the Perstistance File. Also i couldnt reduce the part count sorry... Anyway, Please see my video tomorrow, bye.
EDIT: my Video is now up:

Ok, so i've been kinda quiet, but I've made my module, but... (there has to be a 'but') I still have to record myself launching it . So what have I done... (nothing) I have tested the design!
So here is just a Sneek peek of KerbolCast:= Persistance It is a large Dish designed to listen to the Sounds of Kerbol. Well a Kerbal Scientist (Jeb in a lab Coat) thought it would be cool... so Why Not! Also it is 30 parts.
Tell me if you would need a design change to reduce part count.
I'll de-orbit this kerbolcast then record myself putting the actual one up tommorow or day after, i'll try to have the vid up soon. Thanks

Hello, um... I don't know how to say this but...
I may withdraw my position in this project... Because I'm a Student and my School starts back on the 2nd September. And I don't think that I can effectively participate during school. And my weekends will be filled with homework
So regrettably I must withdraw (not yet) if I fail to contribute before 2nd September...

Um I made a post like this bout 2-3 weeks ago but it kind of died down

EDIT: Don't Bother any longer, with a little ship redesign, i have mostly remedied the issue.
-
EDIT: Sorry Double Post (By Refresh)
-
Well, we can no longer argue that based on Jebediah, the average (note: Jeb is definitely not average) kerbal is:
70 kilograms
1.65 metres tall
Born in the year 1929 (as they all have a similar apperance)
And Love Explosions...
-
The age groupings probably haven't changed in one or two months. The old data is entirely relevant. Try again in a year.
Well, Its just that I thought, maybe, with the Recent Steam Sale some new KSP'ers could have joined...

It's cool you are trying to spark off a thread that could involve the whole community TheTriniFlyer, but we're starting to see this topic+poll once a month now.
Sorry, I just wanted to bring a sourced answer to the "Is KSP for Older Users" Thread.
But, before anything sparks too largely, Everyone, We Do NOT want a Community War/Riot! Please Keep any and all Discussion Civilized, Please.
-
Didn't we do this a month ago?I see no debates there. Also, I don't see Sir Debates-A Lot(s) on that thread.
And for OP, your question has been already answered. Twice.
Please read this: "Secondly, I am aware that there have been previous polls of this topic, but, the last was a decent time ago, and over time our userbase will develop and change."

Hey, just asking: Is FAR Compatible with 0.22.0? I know that official words for FAR Compatibility have not come yet but for anyone who tried, does it work?
