Introducing the FK-1! It uses f̶i̶r̶e̶c̶r̶a̶c̶k̶e̶r̶s̶ state of the art, compact propulsion system to drive it up to just over 200 KM/H! It also is a hybrid, capable of using electric charge to power it to 60 KM/H if fuel is scarce! And as an added feature, the driver's head is protected in the likely event the car flips over. Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you to the KIAA's first successful SSTO! Christened the Defiance MK I, it is capable of reaching Low Kerbin Orbit (LKO) without jettisoning expensive engines or fuel tanks. The entire craft is reusable, and is capable of gliding back to KSC. Further development will be done to ensure that the Mark II is capable of docking with a refuelling station. The space program has finally achieved SSTO flight after several months of development. Test pilot, Jebediah Kerman is well and healthy. We congratulate him on bringing the Defiance back home. The Kerbal Institution of Aerospace Aeronautics (KIAA) will cease operations till more funding comes in. The mission director has announced that there is a possibility of periodic flights every now and then, with a possibility of normal operations continuing in August this year. Nearby residents are advised to stay clear of Kerbal Space Centre due to irresponsible kerbonauts strapping seats to rockets. The KSC observatory will function as normal, however the museum will be closed to the public till further notice as we deal with stolen boosters and debris falling from the skies.
